25.01.2022 Help for a follower... At what age are kids generally fully potty trained? My 3 year old is still nappy dependant.

25.01.2022 I dont do mother groups. Weve got a few friends who are new mums and struggling at the moment. When asked why they arent part of a mother groups they say oh god b1tchy, competitive women combined to talk about poo I cant think of anything worse. But theyve never even given it a go. Dont get us wrong, we are sure that some mothers groups are absolutely like that. Without a doubt. But theres mothers groups that are the complete opposite, its not how it has to be. And... what if you could be the one to make it an amazing mothers group? That could turn these groups of women experiencing the same challenges as you into this fierce tribe of female supporters? What if they had the potential to become friends like youve never had before? Why wouldnt you give it a go to see? And hey, if you give it a go and you get a dud why wouldnt you give another group a go? A woman we know went to the Sutherland Mums group and found she didnt click. Every single one of them was breastfeeding and she wasnt able to so she didnt click because all they talked about was breastfeeding. And thats ok for them. So she cried a little bit, got back up, and took herself to the Gymea group. And 8 years later she has a mums group who go on weekends away, wild nights out and whose kids are the best friends ever. So, before you rule it out. Give it a crack. Heres the part where mums come online and share stories about having the best mothers groups ever!!!!! Tell us, what makes a fab mothers group? 25.01.2022 Our current session - every Wednesday. There's a few changes to our normal so please read on... Location - Gymea Bay Resource Centre.... 276 Gymea Bay Rd, Gymea Bay. Plenty of street parking. Session runs from 10:00am - 10:30am. 1/2 hour of free-play before the session. So come at 9:30am and stay till 10:30am. $7.50 per child or $10 for 2 or more children. All sessions are casual drop-in. No commitment. Come when you like. For anyone who has been before, your cards are still valid - just bring them along. We will be practicing social distancing (for adults) and we ask everyone to use hand sanitiser (provided) on arrival and departure. And please, only 1 adult per family. See you there!

23.01.2022 Great news - Shire Therapy Group are running their Lego Legends School Holiday Program in the upcoming September School Holidays! The program caters for all children aged 5 11 years old and is run as small group sessions, meaning your Lego-loving child will get lots of encouragement and support from the experienced Lego Masters! There are two sessions: Wednesday 30th September and Wednesday 7th October from 9.30am 12.30pm at Shire Therapy Group in Caringbah. Sutherland Shire Leisure Centres have active control measures in place to manage attendance at each centre as crowd numbers increase to ensure everyone has a COVID Safe summer. 12.01.2022 A post from a follower... Are you looking for a free way to keep active, while meeting other local mums? Come join us for a 1 hour walk, every Thursday from 12-1. We start from Sylvania Waters (outside Lucys Espresso Cafe) and walk along the beautiful Woolooware Bay shores. ... Our walking group is endorsed by the Heart Foundation (walkers can register on their website https://walking.heartfoundation.org.au//happy-healthy-whol) and the initiative is also supported by Gymea Community Aid & Information Centre. During September, Gymea Community Aid & Information Centre are also giving a free mini sunscreen and hand sanitiser to all new walkers who join the group. The walk is pram friendly and a great opportunity for shire mums to get active and connect with other mums in the area.
