22.01.2022 Popanyinning Standpipe Update While the Shire was initially advised the delivery of a replacement main solenoid valve would take at least 2 weeks, this morning the Shire has been told the delay will longer. The expected arrival date is now Monday 9th November. The Cuballing standpipe remains operational. ... The Shire apologises for this inconvenience and will continue to provide updates on Facebook as information becomes available.

20.01.2022 Water Tanks at Fire Stations in Shire of Cuballing The Shire of Cuballing will construct 50,000 litre water tanks beside fire stations in Cuballing and Popanyinning as part of a WA State Government initiative to stimulate economic activity in the regions and provide water tanks to support bush fire response throughout the State as part of the WA COVID Recovery Plan. These tanks will allow fire vehicles, including the vehicles of volunteers in attendance, to be fast filled us...ing pumps in a fire emergency. The Shire of Cuballing’s application was one of 61 successful applications from across WA. 18.01.2022 The Shire of Cuballing took delivery of a new Cat Grader this week. The crew are looking forward to getting the new grader out onto the roads projects.

17.01.2022 The Shire have ordered a replacement main solenoid valve for the Popanyinning standpipe and is waiting for delivery and then installation. Delivery may take up to two weeks for this specialist part. The Cuballing standpipe is available for use. The Shire apologises for this inconvenience and will continue to provide updates on Facebook as information becomes available.

15.01.2022 Popanyinning Standpipe Update. The Popanyinning Standpipe will remain out of action for the next 2-3 days while parts are sourced & repairs are carried out. The Cuballing standpipe (opposite the roadhouse) is fully functional.
