Steps for physical distancing in public includes: minimising all unnecessary contact with others keeping at least 1.5 metres (minimum) away from others avoiding physical greetings such as handshaking, hugs and kisses using tap and pay instead of cash For more information visit: https://healthywa.wa.gov.au/Articles/A_E/Coronavirus or https://www.health.gov.au/

13.01.2022 Esperance = dog friendly town, and we love it , but while you're enjoying the views and walking the dog, if it poos we ask you to please pick up the poop and dispose of it. Bags and bins are located at various points along the foreshore, from Castletown to West Beach, and with children playing in parks, it is safer and cleaner for everyone if owners clean up after their dogs. Set a good example: Scoop that Poop

01.01.2022 You may have noticed our Parks & Gardens and Town Construction crews busy working near the James Street jetty yesterday and this morning dismantling some of the seating out along the groyne. This is in preparation to making the site safe for a helicopter company which will soon be offering sightseeing flights from this location. Following input from our Streetscape Advisory Committee, consisting of a number of community members, this furniture will be repurposed into the CBD area in an effort to create more seating and in keeping with the overall theme of our foreshore - providing better linkages between both our CBC and bay #SummerinEsperance
