25.01.2022 Morning to everyone. Update on the Swim to Rotto in the pool here. 3 more landings on the beach. Well done Ruth, Tom and Craig. Awesome effort. Total laps for the town to date is 33231 done. Huge effort. This takes us from Kulin through Joondalup to just south of the Billabong Roadhouse turn off to Shark Bay. Total of 830km. Great job everyone. Also those that are interested, I'm going to order shirts for those that have made the distance to Rotto with a logo on them, Touch base if interested for more info. Cheers Jones

24.01.2022 Here weyou go again. Early morning swimming starts tomorrow morning. Just been down to do mine to see how warm the water is. Temp will be 21' in the water tomorrow morning ambient temp 13' under the doona 19'. Blankets are on so come down dip the toe then just jump in. Or maybe don't dip the toe. Start the lap count to Rotto. See you down there.

Tuesday to Friday from 6am to 8am. Starting Tuesday 3rd. Who's keen?? Swim to Rotto program will be running again so keep track of your laps let me know as leaving the pool. See you down here

22.01.2022 Long weekend coming up. Weather looking ok. What are you up to. Why not come have a dip and a rip on the slide. Pool open Sat,Sun and Monday 11am to 6pm with the slide opening at 1pm to 5pm on each day.

Weather isn't helping much but the blankets are on the pool trying to keep it warmish slide is open on the weekends during school term then Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday once holidays start. Come down and try it out with a new smoother ride. See you down here Jones

17.01.2022 Hi to everyone following. It's that time of the season again when we are closing. The closing date is a couple of days earlier than expected with the current situation around the world unfortunately but it's out of our hands. This was my first season at the Kulin Aquatic Center and Water Slide and what a ride it has been. No pun intended there. Meeting people from all over Aus and the world for that matter has been great and I'm always up for a chat which was great to hea...r where everyone had come from or going. I'd like to thank the kids that work with me on the slide. These guys have made my job so much easier with the way they do their job and me not having to be worried once the slide is on. I'm sure all of you who have visited over the summer would agree. Thanks to Ani, Charlotte, Shayley, Belle, Kate, Khenan, Alysha, Brady, Chloe and Savannah. Really appreciate having you working with me and hopefully you'll be back next season. Good luck to those kids that have moved on to their next schooling. Also like to thank Wout and Madi who worked in the front gate entry. You guys did a an awesome job and young heads with modern technology is always a bonus as well Hopefully you can hang around Kulin for a while longer. This season I have run a program in the pool to Swim to Rottnest. Swimming the same distance as from Cottesloe to Rotto 19.7km or 788 laps. We had 93 people take on the challenge with 24 completing the distance with some going further. Not meI made Rotto then got stuck at the Quokkas Arms Well done to Cindy, Fiona, Meaghan and Van on making the distance as well. Good job. Special mention to Bec from the pub. Challenged herself to go further. Bec had Kulin to Brookton in mind, distance of 144km or 5760laps and was going to get there today as was only 90 laps short or 2.25km. Huge effort and well done to you. Looking at next season already I'm sure This year in total as a town we swam 42927 laps which works out to 1073 km. So that would work out to swimming to Joondalup then about 100km south of Carnarvon. We are swimming our way around Australia. Thanks again to all those who made my job easier and to everyone who came and had a dip and a slide. Hopefully see you all back here next season. Take care in the current environment. Jones See more

15.01.2022 Swim to Rotto is still on in the pool until the end of March. 5 more landings this week. Well done to Amber, Dee, Toby and Zoe. Great effort and I crawled up the beach as well. As a town this season we have swum from kulin through Joondalup nearly to Woroomal Roadhouse south of Carnarvon. 40275 laps done with 1006 km total. Huge effort. Well done to everyone taking on the challenge. Not over yet though. Just over 2 weeks to go before I close for the season. Swim to Rotto shirts have been ordered should be here next week. Water temp is beautiful, weather is great come down have a dip. Cheers Jones

14.01.2022 Hi all. The weather is not great but that's OK it will get warm soon enough. Just head's up this weekend. Just had a slide pump die on me this morning. So it might be too cold for the pumps as well. With this being the case the slide will be out of action this weekend. Sorry for any inconvenience. Should be all good for next weekend. Cheers Jones

12.01.2022 Cool week we've had but still got a few keen early morning swimmers. Water temp still at 24' with no funny noises when the early birds are hoping in so it can't be that bad. Well done to Molly who made Rottnest on Sunday. Great job. Keep up the good work as carnivals coming up soon. Also I'm putting the order in for shirts early next week so if you have made the distance or will make it by end of the season and would like one, touch base with payment on order. $38 Cheers Jones

We are back to early morning swimming 4 mornings a week Tue to Fri from 6am. Come on down for a dip to start the day. Couldn't think of a better way Cheers Jones

05.01.2022 Season has started again over the weekend. Great turn up here to try out the slide and the water temp. Supervision is a huge part around water. Please ensure your little ones are within reach. Also as a reminder, children under 10 and non swimmers will only be be permitted at the deep end if supervised by an adult at the deep end with them.
