16.01.2022 Community members may have observed the large tree in the Moora Swimming Pool carpark being lopped last week. Tree pruning and lopping is undertaken in a very considered manner. The large tree in the carpark dropped a branch last week, very nearly hitting a community member. The tree was immediately assessed by local arborist Dave Watson Dave Watson Contracting PtyLtd. The conclusion following this assessment was to regrettably remove the tree, which we believe was in the best interest of maintaining public safety. Such decisions are not taken lightly and are done so in a very considered and informed manner. If you have noticed an issue with a tree in the Shire of Moora that could pose a risk to public safety, please report it to us on 08 9651 0000.
