24.01.2022 Shire of Nannup Success in SWDC RED's Round 3 The Shire of Nannup can now progress Stage 2 of the Nannup Tank 7 & 8 Mountain Bike Park project as a result of the funding success. On Friday 30 October the Minster for Regional Development, Hon Alannah MacTiernan announce the recipients of the recent Regional Economic Development Grants on behalf of the South West Development Commission. A total of 15 recipients from the South West were allocated funds to inject in projects tha...t aim to stimulate the local economy by sharing in the funding pool that equates to just under $1.2 million. The Shire of Nannup is seeking an enthusiastic person to join our Operational Services Team. The primary function of the role is to oversee and supervise works and services, maintenance and upgrade of roads and other infrastructure assets such as parks, gardens and other amenities, buildings, bridges and project manageme...nt. To be considered for this position you will have experience in a similar role working in a Local Government or similar environment with a minimum of a C Class License. This position is to be a contract role with conditions to be negotiated with a total remuneration package up to $100,000. 08.01.2022 From 7am on Friday 6 November Nannup will host the Tour of Margaret River with road cyclists groups travelling south of Nannup towards Gull Gully Road looping around and returning to Nannup from around 11am. Please note this is a controlled event, please watch out for the increase numbers of cyclists on our roads. Traffic management and traffic wardens will be doing their best to keep the community safe. Please obey the road rules, do not overtake on double lines and only overtake when it is safe. The cyclists will be in Manjimup on Saturday and return to Nannup on Sunday when Ballingup Nannup Road will be temporarily closed between 6am and 10am.

04.01.2022 SITE IS CLOSED DUE TO WORKSITE AND CONSTRUCTION ZONE. The construction of the Nannup Tank 7 & 8 Mountain Bike Park is underway. Be aware that this is a a worksite and construction zone whilst the MTB trails are being established. There is also active harvesting occurring in the area with large machinery moving from Tank 8 over to Tank 7 making it unsafe to enter. Please observe the warning signs until further notice.
