22.01.2022 REMEMBRANCE DAY - We will remember them At 11.00am on 11 November each year, we observe one minute’s silence in memory of the service men and women who have served and continue to serve our nation. There was a fantastic turnout in Quairading, and the day included a memorial for Mary Clemens.

Dog poo can infect people (especially children) with: - Worms from contact with the egg... - Bacterial Infections, and - Protozoan infections (germs that breed in moisture) Diseases your dog or others can contract from infected poos are:- - Canine parvovirus - Canine hepatitis - Distemper - Canine gastroenteritis - Bacterial & viral infections Most are highly contagious & often fatal (especially to pups). If the poo isn't picked up and breaks down in the soil, some of these diseases can be present in that soil for up to 2 years. Please show courtesy for your fellow community members by carrying a doggy bag and picking after your dog. The Shire has placed bag dispensers at both the Caravan Park and the Town Sports Oval.
