The heart-warming and colourful story of Albert Facey is recounted in the bestselling autobiography ‘A FORTUNATE LIFE’. Visitors are welcome to BYO picnic for lunch on the lawn in the Homestead gardens and enjoy a nostalgic family day out in Wickepin with themed activities, historical and art displays from 10am to 2pm. 21.01.2022 Facey Group SPRING FIELD DAY 2020 It was great to see over ninety growers and industry representatives turn out to hear from leading experts covering topics from valuing land prices to making the right in season nutrition decisions. This years' Spring Field Day has been commended for providing local growers with much needed relief from current events and to offer members and industry the opportunity to get together and learn valuable insights from a diverse range of topics and informative speakers. Summing up the success of the day, outgoing Facey Group president Gary Lang said, it’s the best turnout we’ve had for a Spring field day for several years. 09.01.2022 Today is R U OK? Day. It’s our national day of action when we remind Australians that every day is the day to ask, Are you OK? if someone in your world is struggling with life’s ups and downs. 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone and circumstances have made it even more important for us all to stay connected and, for those who are able, be willing to support those around us. You don’t have to be an expert to keep the conversation going when someone says they’re not OK. By knowing what to say you can help someone feel supported and access appropriate help long before they’re in crisis, which can make a really positive difference to their life. https://www.ruok.org.au/
