10.01.2022 According to the RSPCA, only 5% of Australia’s cats are microchipped. Shire Petz is dedicated to doing what we can to reduce stray cat numbers and make sure every kitten and cat in the Shire has a place to call home. That is why we decided to get licensed in microchipping as it was a small way we could work towards making this happen.... We are volunteers and work for nothing. The cost for us to microchip is minimal so making microchipping free for the Shire community is our way of giving back.

05.01.2022 UPDATE - OWNER FOUND!!!!!!! And, yes of course we provided treatment. We just need owner permission for some of the larger surgeries, if we can. Thank you! LOOK...ING FOR OWNER - this boy was found on Foreshore Boulevard in Woolooware at 1am on Tuesday morning. He is injured and requires medical intervention. We desperately need to chat to his owners. We have him comfortable and loved in the meantime. Please share. See more
