25.01.2022 We have some exciting news about our Coffee & Connect event next week! Dr Mirta Safavi-Naeini will be joining us from ANSTO to discuss developing business solutions using techniques from the scientific world. Well be talking about when science and business work together, amazing things happen which benefit all Australians, and potentially, all humans.... We thought that after last months positive feedback on borrowing different industry strategies to improve a product or service that this would be a great topic! We hope youll join us! Well also have mics and cameras on for the first part of the meeting, so you can introduce yourself and your business to the group. https://www.facebook.com/events/284944876167527/
25.01.2022 Have you got a product or service that isnt doing well? Was it something you were convinced was a winner but completely failed? Has COVID killed some of your best sellers? Are you about to launch a product or service but are unsure about its potential success? If your answer to any of these is yes, then this event is for you! Well be discussing the issues around failed products and services, and how sometimes its not the product itself thats the problem. Youll learn how... to turn things around. Well also have cameras on in this Zoom session so you can virtually network and interact with one another. See you all on Friday! https://www.facebook.com/events/2682098382109009/
24.01.2022 Have you currently got a disengaged audience? In our latest research, we found this is a rising trend. As the market has changed over the past few months, so have your audiences needs and wants. Things you may have shared three months ago, may not be seeing the same results now.... Its also important to know that 20% of people are spending more time on social media than normal, so if your audience is currently disengaged, this may be a great time to change up your content. Try things like: - Podcasts - Short vlogs - Blogs/ Articles - Humor Different types of content help to re-engage audiences who are bored and unmotivated due to saturation of content. Unsure of how to get started? Reach out - we can give you the best advice on how to implement new strategies and get your mojo back. We can also introduce you to our members who can help you.
23.01.2022 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone and circumstances have made it even more important for us all to stay connected and, for those who are able, be willing to support those around us. With today being R U OK Day, its important to remind ourselves and others around us of the power a simple conversation can have especially during these times, as some people may be struggling to cope with lifes ups and downs. Asking R U Ok? can definetely be a hard conversation to ha...ve, but even harder to continue if someone you love or care about says they arent doing okay. In fact, 31% of Australians lack confidence or are unsure of how to have a conversation with someone who is not OK. Use today to not only check in on a friend, family member or colleague, but to also learn what to say if someone isnt okay- check out this graphic below for a good idea on how to start. Because theres more to say after R U OK?, and by saying more, it could truly change a life.

08.01.2022 As most of us enjoy what working from home has to offer, much of that joy is probably due to having a space that makes us feel good. Many of us have styled these spaces to inspire and evoke happiness, not induce dread or negativity. The happiness we feel in the way we style our homes often comes from the use of sentimental objects throughout the spaces in which we live, work, connect and entertain. Business Member, Sarah Yarrow Interiors, has some insightful thoughts on jus...t that, and has detailed them in a recent blog post.
