25.01.2022 Our local member visited the Clubs Open Day on Election day and was impressed by the work we had on display, see https://drive.google.com//1VCKEVbmWXAhanIZilqxpWnpHW/view

25.01.2022 With the relaxation of COVID-19 rules we are having a get-together and Christmas lunch on December 19 from 10 am - See event for more details.

23.01.2022 Plywood wanted. The Club will gladly accept plywood off-cuts. We use lots of 3 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm and 13 mm plywood (and anything in between) to make many of our products. Any off-cut at least 200 mm square can be used, but the bigger the better. We can pick up in the Sutherland Shire. Please contact me if you require further information.

17.01.2022 The club is open again with some restrictions. No more than 8 people can attend at any time and attendance needs to be approved by Maurice Smith who is managing the number limits. Contact Maurice at [email protected] if you wish to attend, advising which day, and am, pm or all day.

16.01.2022 Further to my advice on 22 March, we have decided to stop workshop access using the three member rule, so that the Club is now fully closed at all times until further notice.

15.01.2022 Some restrictions on club operations have changed. The club is now open Tuesdays to Saturdays (9 am to 3 pm), except for the first Saturday of each month. We are not opening on Monday or Sunday. No more than 10 people can attend at any time and attendance needs to be approved by Maurice Smith who is managing the number limits. Contact Maurice at [email protected] if you wish to attend, advising which day, and am, pm or all day.

13.01.2022 The club is closed to scheduled activities until January 5. Have a merry Christmas and happy new year! Hopefully 2021 will be better than 2020! h

06.01.2022 This Saturday is Election Day! Come by to see our new Laser Cutter & Engraver, and take something home for yourself from 8am - 3pm.

05.01.2022 We are increasing the maximum attendance limits for our club days (Tuesday to Saturday). Attendance is now restricted to a maximum of 15 members and attendance bookings are no longer required. This means it is first-in first-served and if you are the sixteenth member to arrive at the club workshop you cannot enter or work until someone leaves.

04.01.2022 The Club is closing down until further notice. The majority of our members are in the target age group expected to be most affected by the virus. The 3 member rule still applies if anyone wishes to do some woodwork, but members do so at their own risk and must undertake effective personal hygiene.
