24.01.2022 The wedding business may be slow at the moment but that doesn't mean I'm not busy. Yesterday I completed the 5 hours of study I need to complete each year to keep my registration. Today I photographed my signing table complete with my rose gold collection. The items not only create a lovely photo they also hold the tablecloth in place. I have also created them in silver and yellow gold.

23.01.2022 watch this space......next year my husband and I will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. For our 25th anniversary we commemorated by placing a lock with 2 adjoining locks (representing our daughters) on the love bridge in Paris. With this in mind I am going to create a garden feature where my clients, family, friends and even neighbours can place their locks as a memorial to love

22.01.2022 happy Australia day weekend. While most of you will be enjoying a well earned break from work I will be busier than ever with 2 weddings this weekend. Lucky I really love what I do.

21.01.2022 Although things may be a little quiet on the wedding front for me the same cannot be said for my couples with 2 births in the last couple of weeks. Congratulations Emily and Elliot on the birth of Benjamin and also to Samantha and Mitch on the birth of Sophie.

18.01.2022 my signing bench is finally finished. A lovely place for signing documents when weather permits and a place on the back for everyone to hand their locks. It will also double as a gin bar. Now for a name. Any suggestions?

14.01.2022 Still a bit of work to be done on the lock bar but I couldn't resist trying out the first lock. It looks like I need a bit of engraving practice as well but the first lock I have put in place will is in honor of the first ceremony I performed. I would love to fill the entire panel with locks so message me or give me a call to start planning your ceremony.

12.01.2022 did you know that as well as being a celebrant I am also an amateur photographer? The attached photo is one of my favourites from my collection taken as the sun went down over Waikiki beach. For anyone considering booking a small ceremony, now that restrictions are lifting, I can also take some photos for you so that you can have that extra guest rather than a photographer.

09.01.2022 I am so glad this rain is happening now and not this time yesterday (or last Saturday)! Speaking of yesterday, I noticed several crowd responses that show they were engaged in the ceremony. Mother's wiping away tears at the right time, laughter and responses to the odd joke and audible sighs (awww) at just the right time. Hopefully these responses mean I have given the bride and groom exactly what they wanted as their guests are the people who know them best.

03.01.2022 when I have some spare time I like to do a bit of upcycling. These old wine bottles have been given the gold leaf treatment and are now stylish vases. With numbers printed on them, I think they would also make lovely centrepieces for your wedding reception tables
