23.01.2022 The crazed creator of Shirley Fracture. Hadn't slept for a week getting ready for a runway but the fabulous photographer, Josie. took this great portrait on film backstage. Josie did all my early photoshoots with me, starting with digital, then we both fell in love with the beauty of old school film photography. The look of it & the anticipation of getting the film developed to see what had been captured. I miss working with Josie with her talent, work ethic, openness & contribution to my ideas. I think we made a great team. XX

07.01.2022 Flashback. Everyone knows 'Shirley Rocks'. And so Does Amanda Palmer,in this costume with tights hand painted by Shirley Fracture.( Not my design). I didn't even know I had these photos or who took them(so apologies photog.). I did about four pairs with different designs. I these images are from a gig in New York. Those were the days when you could feel the energy & sweat of a crowd all around you without fear of dying (unless I light fell on your head etc. but the risk was low. I'll do custom orders so if you want to rock out or show out for any event, including & especially supermarket shopping, just shout out. XX

04.01.2022 It's almost the 6th anniversary of DJ Mammy Rock (Ruth Flowers), death at the age of 83. She was one of the most fabulous people I've ever met & was such an inspiration beginning her successful DJ career in her 70's. It took her all over the world & goes to prove you're never too old to pursue your dreams & flip the script. XX
