18.01.2022 To all our wonderfull parents, kids and students, Shir’s House is taking your health and wellbeing seriously and we will be doing what we can to minimise the risks related to the COVID-19 outbreak. At the moment, with heavy heart, we have made the decision to temporary cancel all of our Kabbalat Shabbat sessions planned for the rest of Term1 and Holiday program. We will keep updating regarding term 2. In the meantime, we will keep planning and working on new ideas, activities... and themes for when we come back. We will continue to run our other sessions with kids and adults while we keep updating you as we know more. We are also currently exploring alternative ways to deliver online content should the situation require our program to be suspended for an extended period of time. We would like to thank you for your continued support as we manage this difficult situation. Please reach out with any concerns or questions. 10.01.2022 Salvation army needs our help!!! In these unprecedented times we know that our services will be in high demand as people face the financial and social fallout of this major global event. Right now, we are working with our local community, as we have always done, to ensure that we leave no one in need. This includes the people we have always been helping who are living in extreme hardship; people who have never needed us before the devastating impacts of this pandemic; and the... people who have never felt so isolated and alone as they do right now. 05.01.2022 Thank you for coming and celebrating Purim with us. We had a fun day that started with making hamantaschen, Kabbalat Shabbat, we made groggers and masks, we danced to Purim songs, we dressed up and with all of that, we did not forget to make our challah... We left with Mishloach- Manot. Have a wonderful Purim
