23.01.2022 As you may have heard, Culburra Beach is the latest victim of Banksia attacks. In Brad Stanton's latest article, he writes about the latest vandalism attack against Banksias, this time at Culburra Beach. Very sad to see, as they are so vital for the surrounding ecosystem, including our Black Cockatoos and the stability of sand dunes, yet they seem to be so often, the victim of environmental damage.

14.01.2022 Gas is not a transition fuel, it's a fossil fuel. It just fans the flames of the climate emergency. Any recovery plan that doesn’t keep coal, oil and gas in the ground will make the problems we face worse. It’s not too late, but we need to act now to say no to gas: greens.org.au/no-new-gas

12.01.2022 On Tuesday, David Shoebridge Greens MP visited the Shoalhaven to take a tour of Brooman State Forest. Takesa Frank, a young Shoalhaven Greens member who is passionate about protecting the forest showed him the destruction been caused by Forestry. Directly after the Black Summer Fires they started the logging which put extra stress on the environment and the community. They looked at some beautiful places in the area including Shallow Crossing and Mogood lookout to show a comparison on how beautiful the area can be when not logged for the sake of money. If you would like to know more about this issue or go on a tour to see the destruction head over Brooman State Forest Conservation Group

12.01.2022 Australian made. Publicly-owned. We could be at the forefront of mRNA vaccine and drug development if the government invested in developing Australia’s capacity to locally manufacture vaccines and medicines especially as new strains emerge. Let’s get this done!

11.01.2022 Sad but true! It's time to get ready for the bushfire season

10.01.2022 Congratulations Manyana Matters! The Federal Environment Minister Sussan Ley has deemed the construction project in the forest at Manyana a controlled action, that will be freshly assessed for environmental impacts. The Minister cited the grey-headed flying fox as one of the species that could be impacted. Flying foxes everywhere threw a goth party to celebrate

03.01.2022 Yes the system is rigged to benefit corporate donors and not the greater good. We need top down change A terrible decision for New South Wales and the planet. Just like coal, gas is fueling the climate crisis. There's no place for it in a green future. Mehreen Faruqi Greens NSW Senator

02.01.2022 Some of the reasons why the Australian Greens will be introducing a bill to prevent companies seeking approvals or government contracts from making a political donation while their application is on foot, or six months on either side of it. It’s a common-sense plan that even the donations-addicted major parties should support. Just another reason to vote Green.
