23.01.2022 Sunrise/Sunset Exhibition - Call for Entries by Kerrina Swords I’ve received the first contribution of stunning photos for the upcoming exhibition. Its been decided to extend the deadline for entries until Fri12 June. Please make sure you read the guidelines for entries (see below) The photos are NOT the standard size. They are to be printed 6x8 to have a bit more visual impact. Thanks! Exhibition guidelines:... 1.The photo/photos need to have been taken on or after Saturday March 21. 2.You’ll need to deliver your prints to my letter box at Unit 2/54 Golden Hill Ave up to and including the deadline June 12. I will put an envelope in a plastic cover in the letter-box for you to place the photos. 3.The exhibition is limited to in focus photos of sunrise and sunset scenes taken in Shoalhaven Heads/ Coolangatta/Seven Mile Beach. 4.Photos with creatures will be accepted but at this stage not identifiable people unless you provide their written consent with the photo. If the subjects are members of your family please provide a note to that effect. 5.There was a question about a separate section for photography by children. Unless we get quite a few they can be exhibited with the other photos. 6.On the back of the photo without damaging it, please put: - Your name - The title of the image eg Sunset Symphony, Early Start. - Location where the photo was taken if not included in the title - Date image was taken - Age (if by a child) 7.All photos need to be 6x8 size, matt finish with no borders. Landscape or portrait format will be accepted. Kmart and Officeworks can print them for you for at a minimal cost. You will need to download relevant Apps. Of course if you have matt/6x8 photo paper and a good printer go for it! 8.Photos will NOT be returned after the exhibition closes (date to be confirmed) and may be used in a further exhibition at a later date. 9.If you provide 2 or 3 images we can’t guarantee that all will be exhibited. Everyone will have at least one image selected. The final selection is up to me as the curator. 10.By submitting your images you agree to all of the above After all that have fun taking photos and selecting your entries! See more
