21.01.2022 This weekend past, the ACT saw a road train of boats coming from Shoalhaven, but never imagined the amount medals we would take from them. Eight races were rowed in anger, with six placings - containing three wins. The mighty green and gold was in touch with the competition every time. If you would like to meet or even row with the good oars pictured (and the photographer), come down to Shoalhaven Rowing Club this Saturday.

05.01.2022 Shoalhaven Rowing fielded two lucky quad crews in the recent, very successful Head of the Shoalhaven. We arrived at Long Point very early and both crews were worried that no one else was going to show up for the time trial. Then all of a sudden the bay outside The Shoalhaven Resort was full of boats... 53 Crews. It was an amazing experience to be part of. All the crews were thanking us, just so excited to finally have the opportunity to enter a regatta in 2020! Our beautif...ul river delivered a sensational advertisement for The Shoalhaven Region. The persistence of both David Eddington and Matt Billings made this event possible, thanks guys. Thanks for the pix Gavin Urquhart

03.01.2022 A Moose was spotted on the Shoalhaven River on Tuesday. Keeping his eye on Waka and The Chief. Giving us a few tips. And "not in 'oar' of what he saw"...evidently! More to do in Bruce next week.

02.01.2022 A rowing guide to our wonderful river. Please beware of the navigation buoys and 'very quiet and focussed' fisherman lurking in the bays. We advise rowers wear HI-VIS on the river and keep to the bow-side of the river when rowing upstream (west) and stroke-side if going down stream (east) under the bridge and around Burraga (Pig) Island... BUT 'The Pig' is a very tricky option and we recommend you navigate this option with an experienced member. Also beware of the bridge building exclusion zone, clearly marked by navigation buoys.
