25.01.2022 Adelaide Rifle Grand Prix Day 2 Today at the Grand Prix 3 events will take place! At 9am ACDT, the 50m Rifle Prone will take place.... At 11am ACDT, the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Teams qualification begins, with the final beginning at 12.30pm ACDT. At 3pm ACDT the athletes will take part in the 10m Air Rifle game "Challenge Shot" Stay tuned for results on these events!

15.01.2022 In the international online competition that took place yesterday, in the 10m Air Rifle Men's Final, Jack Rossiter came in first place, with Dane Sampson in Third. In the 10m Air Rifle Women's Final, Tori Rossiter qualified for the final in 6th place, before placing seventh in the final. Congratulations to Jack and Dane on their medal performances, as well as all our athletes who competed in this competition!

Thank you to the Wingfield Rifle Range for their support in accommodating Shooting Australia's events this year. 10.01.2022 Yesterday saw the Sport Pistol Open and Rapid Fire Pistol Finals in the Shooting Australia Compete Together competition! Sergei Evglevski secured first place in Sport Pistol, Elena Galiabovitch placed second, and Civon Smith shot her best final with a score of 28 hits to place third. In the Rapid Fire Pistol Final, Bailey Groves started the final well, leading the competition until the 5th series where Sergei Evglevski got 5 hits to finish in first place, with Bailey in seco...nd and Scott Anderson in third. Congratulations to all the athletes who participated in the Shooting Australia Compete Together competition over the last few months, and to all the athletes who competed in the finals over the weekend!

05.01.2022 Yesterday saw the Men's and Women's Air Pistol Final's in the Shooting Australia Compete Together competition take place! In the Air Pistol Men Final, Sergei Evglevski came first, Bailey Groves in second, and Scott Anderson in third. In the Air Pistol Women Final, Elena Galiabovitch came first, Dina Aspandiyarova in second, and Civon Smith in third.... Congratulations to all of the athletes who competed in these finals on their performances in this virtual format!

05.01.2022 The 2021 Performance Series will be conducted in partnership with Shooting Australia’s Member Organisations and Event Partners. The majority of the events will serve as selection events for either the 2021 ISSF Junior World Championships, the 2021 Oceania Shooting Federation Championships, and the 2022 Commonwealth Shooting and Archery Championships. The events will also serve as incredibly valuable preparation for our athletes as they get ready to compete at the Tokyo 2020 ...Olympic Games in 2021. In 2021, Fullbore will also be integrated with the Performance Series, with eight events taking place throughout the year. This year, several events will be fully integrated with Able and Para athletes competing side by side. This is a huge step forward for Shooting Sport within Australia, with Libby Kosmala adding "This is fantastic news, It’s something I’ve been pushing for for many years. 05.01.2022 Congratulations to the Melbourne Gun Club for hosting the 2021 Roberto Scalzone Tribute Cup over the weekend. The 200 target ISSF Trap event was well attended including entries from Tokyo Olympic Shotgun Team Members Laetisha Scanlan, James Willett and Penny Smith. Penny shot an impressive 192/200 to lead the field after qualifying and claim Overall in the Open event. This was an exceptional quality event and Shooting Australia looks forward to endorsing the Yarra Valley Grand Prix at Melbourne Gun Club in March, as part of the 2021 Performance Series.

04.01.2022 Today, our Rifle athletes will be involved in an international online competition for 10m Air Rifle. The competition begins at 4.45pm ACDT and involves athletes from Australia, Singapore, Iran, Bangladesh, Thailand, Egypt, and Vietnam. Best of luck to our athletes who will be participating in this competition! We will post results at the conclusion of the competition.
