22.01.2022 This wedding on Friday at Milbrook Winery was nothing short of amazing! We had been looking forward to this since before Rona days, holding our breaths hoping that this day could still go on. Not only were they the first wedding allowed back at this venue, but they were also blessed with a perfect day. Couldn't have imagined starting this wedding season with more kinder souls than Phil and Lilia!

21.01.2022 Hey everyone, I am officially going away on holiday this weekend! I'll be travelling across the Gibb River Road with Sean- so exciting! So that means I won't be so active on my stories, messages and emails but I will get back to you when I can so still send them through. I'll be spending a week or so completely technology free but after that will keep you guys updated- given I have reception. I'll be back completely at the beginning of August- refreshed and busy! I can't wait!

19.01.2022 Okay so I have hit the ground running it seems in all aspects of my life, after the lessening of all these restrictions in WA. Ive been a little MIA on my social media so I wanted to keep you guys up to date and get a little insight into my life right now! Firstly Ive got some pretty cool things planned for Shooting Spark Photography in July, so stay tuned! After all of the delays at the start of this year, things are finally in motion. Ive finally cut my hours back w...orking as an aged carer to focus more on you guys and dive into this business. Ive taken on some admin work for my partner and started a small TAFE course to assist in both of our businesses. Ive started going through the renovations of a 100+ year old house on our farming property in Goomalling. Anyone who has dealt with older buildings knows my pain (special thank you to termites and overgrown tree roots that somehow made it halfway under the house). So many changes in such a small space of time. Finally can we just appreciate this magical photo of this stunning lady at the Secret Garden in Gwelup, Perth.

19.01.2022 My favourite photos to capture? Anything that shows genuine happiness, love and laughter! How do I achieve that? Either I look out for that perfect moment or we create them! 19.01.2022 Good news to all of my soon to be wedded! From the 6th of June, all beauty therapy and personal care services can commence and best of all....gatherings of 100 people in a single space! Whos excited?

18.01.2022 Random thoughts- I am so proud of our achievement of battling this virus. On the 20th of April, Western Australia recorded 00 new cases! I can only hope that other countries get the same relief that we feel right now. I am for one VERY excited to travel out of the wheatbelt and enjoy the luxury of sitting in restaurants, pub meals, gyms and much needed catching up with friends and family! One thing I want to try as soon as we are able is indoor bouldering/rock climbing! Whats the first thing that you will do once this social distancing is finished?

15.01.2022 WHATS IN MY CAMERA BAG? I was organising my bag, charging batteries and going through my memory cards. Something Ive delayed since this coronavirus! I thought... look at all the things Ive collected over the years! With every wedding I always bring two cameras to get as much coverage as possible without limitations. One has my nice long 70-200mm lens for distant places that I cant get close to and the other one has my trusty 24-70mm for those tighter spots. Depending on ...the effect I want or the situation, youll find me switching between these two lenses. Youll also notice that I bring spares of EVERYTHING. A third camera (for emergencies), batteries of every kind, memory cards. Other items include flash for those low light situations, a small reflector, an extra wide 14mm lens, a step ladder for extra height (for special shots and very large group shots), lens cleaning kit and business cards!

When we started planning this session, the river was so dry but luckily as it came time to do the session we got some much needed rain! We hiked along the sunrise side of the trail to capture these stunners!

12.01.2022 I recently had an amazing pre-wedding session with these two lovers! We arrived at the Secret Garden on a sunny late afternoon and finished to this beautiful golden hour sun. Phil and Lilia were amazing to work with despite all of our sneaky on-lookers I couldnt believe how busy the Secret Garden is nowadays! These two are my first wedding after COVID started and Im just so excited! They also seem to be the first wedding back at Milbrook Winery #perthengaged

10.01.2022 When I reflect on this year, I am always amazed at how much businesses support one another. So much goes into running a business and Im in awe with every single person I have come across. Especially through such a tough start to the year. Maybe its because I live in a rural area but I absolutely love seeing all the collabs, the shout outs, general support, the words of wisdom and how much education there is circulating about supporting small businesses. I set a goal a couple of months ago to share the work of businesses that I love once... maybe twice a month. I challenge anyone to do the same thing! All it takes is to see whos content sparks joy to your life.
