25.01.2022 MEET THE CAST AND CREW Let's meet the team behind the upcoming 2020 Members' Show, To My Younger Self! This is the wonderful Prema Yin, the composer for the show. Prema Yin is an award winning singer songwriter from Malaysia with a hidden passion for interactive media i.e. animation and games. A graduate at the Australian Institute of Music, Sydney for Music Production and Composition, she identifies key elements of a story which in return helps assists her in creating ...the sonic aspect of a project. Her recent published projects includes Projection First Light [Apple Arcade] (2019) and Cryptopia: Bitcoin, Blockchains and the future [Documentary] (2020). 24.01.2022 A message from King Kronos Drag meets gospel in Return of Kings, a service for masculinity, hosted by contemporary drag collective Socks in Jocks. Bear witness to two women dressed as men as they expose toxic masculinity for the good of humanity. Return of Kings was originally created as a part of Shopfront’s emerging artist program, ArtsLab in 2019. Join us for a remount of the show from 26-28 November at Old 505 Theatre in Newtown.... In early 2021 Matriak will release a podcast of horror stories written and told by young people. Every day, every minute, every second we become older than we once were, time constantly passes even if we are not conscious of it. We learn, we grow, One Direction breaks up, movies get remade, YouTubers retire, TikTok is no longer just a biscuit, the pandemic ...leaves people brawling for toilet paper and stuck in their homes, all of these are soon to be just memories as we keep circling the whirlpool of life. To My Younger Self brings you along for the ride as we take the letters of strangers written to their past selves and dive into the innocence of youth. The pets discussed many important topics like which brand of wet food is superior and why human beds are so much more comfortable than pet beds.
