24.01.2022 CLIENT LOVE I originally went to see Sarah because my husband and I were trying to fall pregnant and I wanted to be as healthy as I possibly could. She has provided me with ways to improve my diet that would help with my fertility and also with some simple tips that can easily be introduced into day to day life to help with your overall well being. I always thought that my diet was relatively healthy (apart from the fact that I have a weakness for chocolate!) but once I wen...t to see her I realised there were definitely areas that I needed to improve. The hardest thing for me to get my head around was the introduction of fat (good fat) into my diet. My diet has improved dramatically. I no longer eat sugar, I try to eat organic wherever possible and I limit my dairy and gluten intake. Sarah has also provided me with lots of new food combinations and recipe ideas which has made the transition that much easier. I feel so much better since I have been to see Sarah. I no longer feel bloated after meals and my energy levels have increased dramatically. My husband and I are now expecting a little baby boy due in April and I couldnt be happier!! I can not recommend Sarah highly enough to anyone who is wanting to make improvements to their overall health and well being. She makes you feel totally at ease the moment you meet her and I feel incredibly grateful for everything she has done for me. Thank you so much Sarah!!

23.01.2022 Lets talk about Beyond Meat...this is not something that I would normally waste my time talking about but its come across my path a few times lately so I wanted to share why its so problematic As most of you know, in my opinion, the food we need to stringently avoid above all else is seed oils(sunflower, canola)These oils are highly inflammatory and toxic to the human body..canola oil is one of the major ingredients in this chemical sh*t storm of a product My second i...ssue with this non food is the quality of the ingredients. 23.01.2022 CLIENT LOVE I was referred to Sarah by a friend and I have to say it was the best advice I have EVER received! When I first went to see Sarah, its fair to say that I was literally going through the motions of each day. At the time I was taking medication for my anxiety, eating on the run and feeling totally exhausted all day. The main motivation to see Sarah was because not only was I gaining weight but I had started to lose a lot of my hair and none of the health pro...fessionals I had seen could explain why. I did not believe Sarah when she told me that we could improve my energy, body and hair growth with diet and lifestyle but I thought I would give it a try anyway, what did I have to lose? The first thing that we uncovered was that the medication I was taking was causing the hair loss and weight gain. Working with my nutrition, managing stress, sleep and lifestyle we began a program to remove the medication. Im pleased to say that I am completely off the anti depressants and have learnt how to manage all stress in my life so I feel confident I will not ever have to use them again. Since seeing Sarah I feel I have totally transformed my life. I was never one to eat Breakfast and lunch and dinner were always eaten on the run. I always thought I ate well but now I actually eat better and I enjoy every meal. Im even loving exercise, something I never thought I would say. I no longer just get through, I live!!!! With Sarahs help and guidance I feel the best I have felt in years, not only am I off all medication but Ive also lost 13kg. Im lighter now than I was before I had kids. 21.01.2022 CLIENT LOVE I embarked on sessions with gorgeous Sarah some 12 months ago predominantly to address and seek assistance with insomnia. For the last twenty years I cannot recall a time where I slept soundly for a consistent time frame without the use of prescription medication. I had until recently become totally dependent on sleeping pills. Throughout the years I have tried a number of alternatives such as hypnotherapy, kinesiology, acupuncture, meditation, online apps, and di...et restrictions but with no success. I had almost resigned myself that to the fact that I was to survive on approximately 3-4 hours sleep a night. My current work situation (FIFO roster / 28:28) is unusual in that I live in two different worlds. My sessions with Sarah commenced with small steps, which have included adjusting my diet, exercise and lifestyle choices. Sarah has provided me with strategies to assist with my sleeping problems taking into consideration life in Perth and on site. My previous eating habits were quite good so the small steps I have had to make to eliminate and reduce foods such as sugar, wheat, alcohol and the like has not been too difficult. Sarah has been able to provide me a wealth of knowledge regarding food combinations and suggestions plus options for sourcing produce. She has also helped me in regards to my food choices on site, which is a daily challenge. Exercise has been a different matter and took some time to get my head around. I have been a daily cardio junkie for a number of years. Sarah suggested that I cut back on my exercise, to the point that I almost didnt do anything due to the fact that my adrenal system was fatigued and that the amount of exercise I was undertaking would be impacting on my cortisol levels. Of course, the thought of this freaked me out! It was quite a challenge and a mind shift for me, however with Sarahs ongoing support, suggestions and assistance, I have managed to reduce my cardio sessions and have commenced looking at alternative exercise such as walking outdoors (vitamin D hit), yoga sessions and weight training. 21.01.2022 CLIENT LOVE When I came to see Sarah I was extremely fatigued sleeping up to 12 hours a day, was always sick with the flu or gastro, was very anxious all the time and had some bad habits I needed to break. Being a stay at home mum with a toddler, I just didnt have the stamina, energy or patience to keep up with my energetic little boy. It was really taking a tole on me, my well being and being the upbeat mum I wanted to be for my son. These symptoms had been going on for ...quite some time but I kept making excuses for myself like I have always been a sleepy person since I can remember, a child takes a lot of energy out of you, and I was just getting sick because I had a toddler who brought home all the germs. This is also what everyone else around me told menot to worry about it! Deep down, I knew something else was going on. We wanted another baby and I could feel in my gut that the way I was currently, both my body and mentally, I wasnt prepared nor likely able to carry a child. And thats when I decided to see Sarah. Initially Sarah made some small changes to my diet, which I saw, the benefits from right away in my digestion and energy levels. While seeing Sarah and getting further blood analysis from my doctor, I found out I had hashimotos, an autoimmune disease of the thyroid, which explained a lot of my symptoms and why I felt the way I did. Sarah then made some more significant changes to my diet to aide in putting my body into remission from my autoimmune disease. The diet was very restrictive initially but now has become a part of my daily life and routine that I dont know any different. Since making these changes to my diet, my thyroid went back to normal and Ive avoided having to go on any medication. I have my energy back and actually dont nap in the day and I have not been sick now in months. Not only did Sarah focus on what I was putting in my body, but we also worked on relaxation techniques and positive sleeping routines. 20.01.2022 FERTILITY LOVE I came across Sarah on instagram after seeing that she had helped someone that I followed in her journey to fall pregnant. I came to Sarah with an array of issues - a lifetime of gut health and digestive problems and 7 year bout of amenorrhoea & anovulation due to over-exercising and restrictive dieting. We tackled the first issue (my gut health) as it was taking a massive toll on my daily life. With quite a few dietary changes, I started to see an improveme...nt in my digestion, reflux and overall wellbeing. After a few weeks of focusing purely on getting my digestion on the right track, Sarah encouraged me to incorporate meditation, acupuncture and some natural supplements to help with my fertility. She also monitored my diet to make sure that I was eating enough to fuel my body in preparation for falling pregnant. As I have an autoimmune disease known as Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, my endocrinologist started me on a course of Clomid to help with ovulation. Along with this, Sarah helped me get into the state of mind that I needed to be in in order to fall pregnant naturally, which was my ultimate goal. After two rounds of Clomid and with the guidance of Sarah, I not only fell pregnant naturally, but I fell pregnant naturally with IDENTICAL TWINS. This had nothing to do with the Clomid as identical twins are a complete chance occurrence. I truly believe that if I hadn't taken the steps both physically and mentally with Sarah to prepare my body for pregnancy, that I would not be sitting here at 34 weeks pregnant ready to meet my two babies. I have to admit that I was initially sceptical about seeing Sarah as I have never really turned to alternative therapies when it came to my health, but I am so glad that I did and cannot recommend her enough. 20.01.2022 SLEEP Last week I conducted an accidental experiment around sleep & sleep hygiene I was away on holiday & working on a jigsaw puzzle that needed finishing so I ditched my @blubloxofficial glasses that I wear religiously from sunset I sat under very bright down lights until after 9pm & noticed i was not nearly as tired as I would normally be by that time (which is the latest I go to bed). 12.01.2022 CLIENT LOVE When I first started seeing Sarah my goal was to improve my health and wellbeing. Never would I have imaged the impact this would have on my family. With Sarahs help my mindset about food changed completely. The highly processed, high carb foods I used to dish up were out for me and as I am the one that does the shopping and cooking in our family this meant it was out for everyone else. My 22 year old son had tipped the scales at 120 kilos, the heaviest he had... ever been. To date he has lost a massive 25 kilos and now weighs 95 kilos. He looks and feels incredible! My mum has also lost weight, just over 10 kilos. Mum was doing lite n easy for 3 months with very little results. When she saw the results I was having she quit lite n easy, started eating what I was eating, lost 10 kilos and saved herself $130 a week. 12.01.2022 FERTILITY LOVE I started seeing Sarah in October 2019 as I had been recently diagnosed with PCOS and was trying to conceive. I was interested on how I could improve my general well-being, sleep and eating and to ultimately achieve my goal of conceiving. Sarah was an amazing mentor and super informative. I fell pregnant in December 2019 and believe it wouldnt have happened if it werent for Sarahs advice and guidance. 12.01.2022 CLIENT LOVE Just wanted to write to thank you for all your help and guidance over the last few months. When I came to see you I was suffering with stress which was causing some very uncomfortable and annoying symptoms, mainly with my digestion, feeling sick after eating and drinking, extreme bloating and gas, chromic tiredness and just a general feeling of being unhealthy and unwell. The changes I have made have been relatively easy, not avoiding foods I am sensitive to alo...ng with making time to relax, especially in the evenings before going to bed, and of course drinking more water. Although I initially thought the changes to my diet would be hard it was easy because you got me to do things in small easy steps which I could manage without a problem. I noticed an improvement in my digestion almost straight away and have just been feeling better and better as time has gone on. The fact I actually have energy to get through the day now and the bloated feeling is gone is fantastic, On top of that I have lost more than 7 kilos which is great, and it just happened without even being conscious of trying to loose weight. I must admit that I was a bit apprehensive and sceptical when I first came to see you but I would tell anyone to try it because the results are amazing. 11.01.2022 CLIENT LOVE Ive struggled with my weight and hormones (I have PCOS) for many years. I wanted to lose a bit of stubborn weight and improve my energy levels and mood as well as get my body in top condition ready for pregnancy. Before I met with Sarah, I already knew quite a bit about healthy food choices and what I should" be eating, however I struggled with the amount of information (and sometimes contradicting information) available online. Ive lost weight, my energy levels have skyrocketed, mood improved and my hormones are far more balanced then they have ever been. 10.01.2022 CLIENT LOVE 6 months ago I suffered a major life change I realised that over the previous 18 months I had let my unhappiness with life and stress get away with my diet and overall wellbeing. My digestive system was a mess, my sleep patterns were terrible and my fitness routine was non-existent. I sought out the help of Sarah to help me get my body back on track and realised that the one thing I could control was how I felt on the inside which in turn would affect how I fel...t on the outside. Some things were common sense by switching one food for another, but other things were more complicated like sleeping patterns and exercise. 09.01.2022 CLIENT LOVE I came to Sarah at the end October 2019 after 2 failed rounds of IVF, and wanting assistance with my fertility. I started IVF 15 months after coming off the pill, being diagnosed with PCOS and after months of trying multiple other natural remedies. I was never 100% happy with the idea of IVF and had been eyeing Sarah off for some 6-8 months before I approached her and after our 2nd round of IVF failed, I knew it wasnt for me and this is where my journey with Sa...rah began. Sarah brought things right back to basics, where we focused on stress and sleep management, digestive issues and nutrition. Before commencing IVF I would train 11 sessions per week and I was eating what I thought was relatively healthy, though I was always bloated, gassy and uncomfortable. Sarah recommended I cut my training right back, focus on sleep/stress and also introduced me to the Low Fodmap elimination diet. Although I did originally find the Low Fodmap overwhelming, as it took away nearly all of the healthy foods I was used to eating, I soon focused on what I could eat and the changes to my stomach and digestive system were amazing! Within a maximum of 2 weeks I was no longer gassy, my stomach was as flat as I had seen it in 2-3 years and I was no longer uncomfortable. It took 3 months for my hormones to balance out after the 2nd failed round of IVF, and after continuing to follow Sarahs recommendations my cycles returned and were the shortest they had ever been. We decided to see how long my first 3 cycles were so we could get an idea on what they were doing, however I soon found out I was pregnant while waiting for my 3rd period to arrive! I am now 11 weeks along, still seeing Sarah and still very amazed at what we have achieved in 6 months. If you are thinking of seeing Sarah, I would highly recommend doing so. And dont wait as long as I did! Sarah is very friendly, bubbly, very professional and incredibly knowledgeable. My only regret is not seeing Sarah sooner - you wont regret that first initial consult

08.01.2022 CLIENT LOVE Prior to seeing Sarah I struggled with my immune system, regular sinusitis, poor gut health, skin issues, fluid retention, bloating, PCOS and had pre-cancerous cells removed from my cervix, and I am sure there are other things I have forgotten. I reached out to Sarah post-surgery for endometriosis, as I still had pelvic pain. I am so glad that I did! I will admit I was sceptical about whether she would be able to help. Previously I had seen numerous medical profe...ssionals including natural health practitioners. In the past I was lucky if my health appeared to improve but it was usually short lived. It was exhausting and disheartening. Fairly quickly Sarah helped me identify that there were some foods including a few vegetables that my body was not responding well to as well as helped me with other holistic lifestyle changes. I was surprised how quickly my body positively responded to the changes! Some of the benefits I have had from seeing Sarah are: dramatic improvement in my digestion and gut health, having minimal pelvic pain, no longer have PCOS symptoms, skin glows and is clearer, improved sleep and energy levels and losing 7kgs without even trying. Sarah is super thorough, supportive and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend working with Sarah!!

08.01.2022 FERTILITY FEELS Over the last few months Ive seen so many of my clients conceive healthy pregnancies, most against the odds. Its such a fulfilling experience to help women who have been informed they are infertile fulfill their dream of becoming a mother The thing is, so many of these women did not need IVF or any other medical assistance but just needed to explore all the components of health. 07.01.2022 HOW TO STAY HEALTHY IN ISO PART 7 - MOVE This one is bloody obvious which is why its not number 1,2,3,4,5 or 6 But Ive been hearing from many of my clients that they are sitting for even longer periods of time than normal & as a consequence, are suffering with more back & neck pain than normal Exercising is great & most people are definitely still incorporating it as part of their daily routine, but we also need to be standing up & walking as much or more than we are sitting. Putting reminders on our phones or PCs to get up & move around every 15 mins or so is a good start Plus taking a phone call while walking rather than sitting can help Regular movement all day is more beneficial than 30 mins of exercise followed by 8+ hours of sitting Flasback to our last climb of Bluff Knoll

07.01.2022 BALANCE Heres the thing about balance; its different for everybody all of the time I used to be VERY rigid with my diet & expected the same of my clients (with varying results ) but after falling pregnant, I became a little more relaxed & this moderate approach has definitely filtered down to my clients BUT heres the thing - sometimes our 80/20 needs to be 95/5 or even just 100% because we have health issues that need addressing Sometimes a bit of balance can actually tip the scales too far in the direction of dis-ease Checking in with our general state of health (& goals around this) regularly is a good way to manage our own personal balance

06.01.2022 CLIENT LOVE When I first started with Sarah I was completely burnt out from years of pushing myself to be wonder woman at everything and in a stressed out mess. I was at a crossroads in my life and knew deep down I had to change things. My main issues were years of poor digestion fluctuating from significant diarrhoea to constipation, this is on a background of coeliac disease. I also had not had a natural period for years and was on the oral contraceptive pill which I d...id not feel good about being on. I was running on adrenaline and was very highly strung. With Sarahs support, guidance and reassurance I was able to make the gradual sustainable changes to put my life back into balance. I stopped the intensive exercise regime I once did and now focus on moving my body in enjoyable ways. Even though I thought I was eating well prior to seeing Sarah I learnt that what I was eating was not doing my digestive system any favours. I now have strategies to follow and my digestive system has significantly improved. Working on my stress, sleep and lifestyle has resulted in me now waking up refreshed, with a sense of purpose and having level energy throughout the day. I stopped the OCP and was guided by Sarah on steps to improve my hormonal health. Even though I have not regained my period I feel it is going to return and will continue with all of the lifestyle changes Sarah recommended. 06.01.2022 FERTILITY LOVE I first started seeing Sarah in January 2020 predominately to discuss how I can improve various things such as digestion, hormones, mood and skin problems. I had severe bloating, I was constantly feeling tired and hungry all the time but the biggest concern for me was having diarrhoea and stomach cramps far too often and knew that something was definitely wrong. My husband and I had also been trying to conceive for over 2 years and that was another reason w...hy I had reached out to Sarah as a friend who had recently fallen pregnant mentioned that she had been seeing her. I was very interested in learning more about how I could prepare my body and get it into the best possible condition so I too could fall pregnant. Since seeing Sarah and having her guide me through gradual changes at each session it has really helped me to stick to it and make the necessary changes that I never thought would be possible for me. She helped me knuckle down all the foods I should be avoiding and other really important lifestyle changes that needed to be addressed. 05.01.2022 HEALTHY CAMPING When I think of camping what comes to mind is junky fast food (two minute noodles & baked beans) & boozy late nights Given our whole team came home from our trip feeling lighter & healthier, I thought Id share what we did to stay healthy while camping remotely Organic food - we packed our fridges full of mostly organic meat, vegetables & fruit Preparation- we cooked all our of meals from scratch- using all the good quality produce we had brought with... us PLUS loads of freshly caught seafood Minimal booze We took one bottle of organic red wine with us & we left it only half drunk Loads of incidental movement - camping requires lots of moving around, in fact we were rarely seated. I clocked over 20,000 steps every day. Natural light - we need to get native blue, green, red & yellow light in our eyes & on our skin every day. This helps our circadian rhythm (hello anti aging) & also optimizes vitamin D absorption. Being outside all day this was easy! Also no light at night (not to mention the stars ) No WiFi - we took loads of photos with our phones but spent our time gazing at the incredible scenery in front of us instead of our screens Grounding - most of the time, we were fully connected to the earth via our feet, allowing negative ions to be redistributed into the ground Of course we indulged in a few chips & are chocolate every day but were heading home feeling clear, clean & refreshed See more

This is a question I frequently get asked by my clients & sometimes I have to answer with its not relevant Of course I eat mostly organic, lots of plants, healthy animal proteins & fats, adequate carbs for my body type BUT Im not dealing with an autoimmune condition or trying to get pregnant or trying to lose weight and most importantly Im not you Not only is every body different but with my clients, their specific goals are different & so their food requirements will differ Its why Im not a proponent of meal plans or fad diets Im a fan of helping people find the right balance for their specific needs & watching their health flourish from that place by my darling @yoga_alchemy

02.01.2022 COVID COLLAPSES In the last month Ive seen so many old clients who have completely fallen off the wagon health wise Seems the stress of the pandemic has undone some of the healthy habits they had created & maintained over time So I thought Id share some simple tips to help get back on track 1Set yourself a goal for each week so you can track your progress (this can be as simple as 5 nights alcohol free) 2Keep it simple. The more things you change at once, the harde...r it is to maintain any of them. Pick one thing that you can build on 3Find an accountability partner or tool. Accountability & support can be useful at the beginning to recreate consistent habits 4Be patient. Those original habits didnt happen overnight, allow yourself an equal amount of time to get back on track now 5Be kind to yourself. 02.01.2022 CLIENT LOVE I run Marathons and found that with running an average of 80 kilometres a week over the last few years that I was still trying hard to reduce my weight for races. I had the Boston Marathon coming up in 6 weeks and was injured so could not target specific training to keep my pace to where I wanted it to be, so thought if I could lose some weight for the race I could run more efficient as long as I did not lose energy. So I finally listened to a friend and went to... see Sarah. Working together, we devised a specific plan to help me achieve my goal. She helped me understand why I needed to make some changes and how these related to my running goal. I was more importantly kept accountable with a food diary and regular weekly catch ups leading up to the race to ensure that I could drop weight, but also to feedback on how I felt with my runs, especially the long run. Sarah also educated me on my digestion to explain why eating certain things were doing what they were doing and how chemicals were not helping my recovery of my muscles therefore not helping my injuries either. She also spent time in stretching and relaxation techniques which helps both mind and recovery. I went from ~74kg to 68kg in the six weeks but more importantly felt better in my running and no loss of energy, in fact felt better and slept a lot better. I am now far more conscious of healthy eating and so much so the four weeks holiday after Boston, I came back from holidays at 72.8kg and after one week down to 70.5kg with just going back to the same eating. If you are trying to lose weight, eat better, sleep better, feel better, set an example for family/children, stop wasting money on fads and gym memberships that never last then you should see Sarah and I guarantee that you will see a result and change for the better. This is one of the best investments for myself and my family that I have ever made and when you think of the cost versus benefits of throwing money away at gyms and fads this is bloody good value. 01.01.2022 CLIENT LOVE Before we met Sarah Hopkins we were none the wiser, living in a hypocritical world where we binged on sugar rich treats, consuming hamburgers that were produced in a lab rather than a kitchen and conforming in a society that demands it’s food processed and easy to serve. We look at ways of shedding the extra kilo’s and wonder why we feel so tired and at times, unhappy. We then spend our hard earned cash on supplements, medicines and doctors appointments to make... us feel better. It’s quite a vicious circle. When my wife, aged 36 was diagnosed with early signs of Osteoporosis alarm bells started ringing. Doctors appointments, treatment suggestions, hormone replacement therapy (HRT) followed. The medicos had only one goal, diagnose, treat the symptoms and shout out Next Please! The subsequent bone density scans displayed the inevitable. It was getting worse. Enter Sarah, she was my boss and mentor in the business world, she often preached the healthy lifestyle in the office and although we had given her some attention, her message often fell on deaf ears. When I spoke to Sarah about my wife’s predicament she told me, with out hesitation that her symptoms could be neutralized and even reversed by learning about her body, how processed foods affect her lifestyle and how to treat many of today’s health issues by changing her lifestyle.After completing a thorough assessment, Sarah created a holistic plan to improve Mel’s long term health objectives. Our diet at home changed from processed foods to organic and raw foods, we ate more protein rich foods and less carbs. Mel also focused on core exercises to help strengthen her body. Even without further medical tests and scans it soon became clear that not only did we all feel healthier, we were healthier.Our children were often sick, in 2011 I recall spending several months where there wasn’t a week where at least one of the kids was unwell. Mel and I both took days of work to care for them. I think so far this year I can only recall them staying home 1 day due to illness. That is certainly not a coincidence.
