22.01.2022 Congratulations Lara, who graded to 8th Kyu Yellow belt this week. Despite our COVID19 restrictions, our students have been working diligently online and keeping up with their weekly practice, some often 4 times a week, double classes. Some of our students have then returned to the dojo for 1:1 lessons with Sensei Mark and have renewed enthusiasm; this is the level of discipline that it takes to truly practice karate. Showing appreciation and respect in the dojo is essential in practicing karate with the right mind. We are working others physical bodies and minds as well as our own. Respect and appreciation is more than a word, or a sound we make in a language. We must take action and show our appreciation; for receiving the knowledge passed on from our Sensei, and gratitude at being part of a c...ommunity. 05.01.2022 COMMUNITY NOTICE & ONLINE TRAINING SCHEDULE As per the Prime Ministers latest determination, as of midday today our Dojo is restricted from trading until further notice. ... We will however be introducing online streaming service to all our members, at our regular class times starting next week Monday 30th March, 4pm. Please be patient with us while we get this up and running for you. Your patronage is so valuable to Sensei, our community group is so important for us all, and our karate is our pathway to overcoming so many obstacles. We will update you as to how you can log on from your home computer and join the classes, and we will also have the ability to provide recordings of these classes to members for your own further practice at a time that suits you. Karate is a way of life. Our home practice is an essential part of any karate journey. This has been a push in the direction perhaps we all need.
