25.01.2022 I’m posting with a broken heart! WE NEED YOUR HELP!! This morning when Nicky arrived at the salon to start her day, she has found that someone has tried to break in through our FRONT DOOR. We are lucky that these people were unsuccessful, but have left us with damaged windows, locked out of the salon and loss of Income. A lot of you would understand how difficult these current times are for a small family business, and we are disappointed and heartbroken by these actions. Our salon is in such a high traffic area we are hoping that one of you guys may have noticed people hanging around between 2pm Saturday Afternoon and 8.30am Monday Morning. Please let us know if you remember anyone acting suspiciously around Shortland over the weekend, and please contact myself or the police if you have any information.

22.01.2022 Due to a recent positive case in our surrounding suburbs, we have decided it would be safest to update our COVID SALON POLICY. We are doing our best to keep you guys, our families and our stylists safe! Some of our clients frequent and work at these venues, so we are asking that if you have been in the vicinity of any of said venues to reschedule your appointment for after the recommend 14 day self isolation period. Face-Masks are now MANDATORY when entering the salon. A...s you guys are aware we work in very close contact with clients, and we think it’s the safest option for everyone. If you do not have one of your own, we can provide you with one. Our front door will remain locked during business hours as we have had trouble with congestion in our waiting area/front desk area which means maintaining a sufficient distance for us and other clients has been difficult. A stylist will greet you and you will be able to enter promptly after placing your face mask on and using the hand sanitiser provided.
