25.01.2022 This sort of behaviour can ruin events for everyone else. Let's all do the right thing.
25.01.2022 If you're planning on celebrating tonight, make sure you do it safely.
25.01.2022 It's the first day of spring and #NationalWattleDay You've probably noticed blooming wattle trees across NSW, and the scent of its sweet flower that you'll us...ually smell before you even see it. Wattle 'bout these fun facts: It is our national floral emblem Represents our national colours (green + gold) Over 1,000 different species of wattle Resilient plant withstands droughts, winds and bushfires Wattle represents the spirit of the Australian people.
25.01.2022 I agree - would've have been the same without my lovely Aunty Joan!
24.01.2022 "A friend came to my house for coffee, we sat and talked about life. At some point in the conversation, I said, I’m going to wash the dishes and I’ll be right ...back. He looked at me as if I had told him I was going to build a space rocket. Then he said to me with admiration but a little perplexed: I’m glad you help your wife, I do not help because when I do, my wife does not praise me. Last week I washed the floor and no thanks. I went back to sit with him and explained that I did not help my wife. Actually, my wife does not need help, she needs a partner. I am a partner at home and through that society are divided functions, but it is not a help to do household chores. I do not help my wife clean the house because I live here too and I need to clean it too. I do not help my wife to cook because I also want to eat and I need to cook too. I do not help my wife wash the dishes after eating because I also use those dishes. I do not help my wife with her children because they are also my children and my job is to be a father. I do not help my wife to wash, spread or fold clothes, because the clothes are also mine and my children. I am not a help at home, I am part of the house. And as for praising, I asked my friend when it was the last time after his wife finished cleaning the house, washing clothes, changing bed sheets, bathing her children, cooking, organizing, etc. You said thank you But a thank you of the type: Wow, sweetheart !!! You are fantastic!!! Does that seem absurd to you? Are you looking strange? When you, once in a lifetime, cleaned the floor, you expected in the least, a prize of excellence with great glory why? You never thought about that, my friend? Maybe because for you, the macho culture has shown that everything is her job. Perhaps you have been taught that all this must be done without having to move a finger? Then praise her as you wanted to be praised, in the same way, with the same intensity. Give her a hand, behave like a true companion, not as a guest who only comes to eat, sleep, bathe and satisfy needs Feel at home. In his house. The real change of our society begins in our homes, let us teach our sons and daughters the real sense of fellowship."~

21.01.2022 After a beautiful wedding yesterday & an intimate family only funeral for my mother-in-law this morning, it's important to keep reminding ourselves that anyone, anywhere can be carrying this insidious virus and not know it. If you are at a function, always keep the required social distance apart from anyone who is not a part of your household.

19.01.2022 No matter what happens to us, everyday spent with you is the best day of my life". Noah . This is what J & K think too! 19.01.2022 TRUE STORY: My husband, Michael & I met at a wedding. Michael caught the garter, I caught the bouquet & right after, he asked me to dance. Whilst we were dancing, Michael asked me when were we getting married? My reply was - just name the date & time, I'll be there! Fast forward two years & we were married & remain friends with the couple who's wedding we met at Whilst the garter & bouquet toss worked in our favour, if it's not something you want to include, there are lovely alternative options to consider.

16.01.2022 How falling in love is like owning a dog by Taylor Mali On cold winter nights, love is warm. It lies between you and lives and breathes... and makes funny noises. Love wakes you up all hours of the night with its needs. It needs to be fed so it will grow and stay healthy. Love doesn’t like being left alone for long. But come home and love is always happy to see you. It may break a few things accidentally in its passion for life, but you can never be mad at love for long. Is love good all the time? No! No! Love can be bad. Bad, love, bad! Very bad love. Love makes messes. Love leaves you little surprises here and there. Love needs lots of cleaning up after. Sometimes you just want to get love fixed. Sometimes you want to roll up a piece of newspaper and swat love on the nose, not so much to cause pain, just to let love know Don’t you ever do that again! Sometimes love just wants to go out for a nice long walk. Because love loves exercise. It will run you around the block and leave you panting, breathless. Pull you in different directions at once, or wind itself around and around you until you’re all wound up and you cannot move. But love makes you meet people wherever you go. People who have nothing in common but love stop and talk to each other on the street. Throw things away and love will bring them back, again, and again, and again. But most of all, love needs love, lots of it. And in return, love loves you and never stops. See more
16.01.2022 Happy couples is what my business is all about & I'm always appreciative of any feedback after the ceremony
16.01.2022 Your vows are your commitment to each other. Apart from the legally required vows you must state during your ceremony, there's no reason you have to share your personal feelings and vows in front of your family and friends. Writing your vows in a letter or note to be read just prior to your ceremony, can be just as meaningful and heartfelt as hearing those words in the ceremony. Do what feels right for you as a couple
16.01.2022 After a year like 2020, it's hard to know what to expect in the New Year. 12.01.2022 Hi! I'm Fiona I've been a celebrant for over 12 years and love creating beautiful little ceremonies for my couples and families. When I'm not helping people celebrate their life events, I'm either baking or cooking for my family ( let's face it teenagers are always hungry), knitting a blanket or am curled up in a sunny corner reading a book. All of my friends know that I hate having my photo taken however, this photo is one of my all time favourites. I am always surprised when a photographer (in this instance, my husband Michael) can capture a moment during the ceremony when I'm not mid sentence and have my mouth wide open #shortandsweetceremonies #lakemacquariecelebrant #celebrantintroduction #simpleceremonies #celebrantinstitute
