04.05.2022 Was busy last Friday creating birthday cakes for the baby who turned 1 on the 13th and Phoenix who turned 10 on the 15th! Koah’s cake was the Sweet Potato Potato Caramel Mud cake from the recipe community, with whipped cream and strawberries in the middle and with Russian buttercream frosting!! This was my favourite!! Phoenix’s cake was the Chocolate mud cake on a budget, with layers of strawberries and whipped cream and chocolate buttercream frosting! This will be my go to chocolate cake recipe now!!
25.04.2022 Christmas baking day today!! Lyric is helping me make the gingerbread for the gingerbread house kit that Thermomix Australia sent me for free for selling 2 Thermomix’s in November!! I’m surprised there was any dough left because her and Aria kept trying to eat it!! Aria is helping me make red and green Christmas shortbread. These are my favourite! We have kept half in the freezer to cook next week for Santa ... Later I am going to get Phoenix to help me make grandmas shortbread bickies cos the kids don’t really like the pistachio’s... hang on as I am typing this they have all come and grabbed a glass of milk and a biscuit each... I might have to cook the other batch!
