Truthfully, my head has been in a thousand places pulling our renovation/expansion together as quick as we can. And it’s been brought to my attention just today that we have them to thank for this very kind acknowledgment. Your support of us during Covid this year did not go unnoticed either. I’m very grateful. So, from all of us here, we thank all of you there.

12.01.2022 It’s the end of an era for us at Shotgun this week. Sunday is our last day of trade for about a month. Shotgun is going into its greatest cocoon yet. And on the other side she gets to finally spread out her really large wings into our new expanded space. Same address, but now we are the whole bottom floor of number 48 maple street. ... The last 6 years has seen so many changes for us. We opened with the tiniest budget and have continuously traded our way to where we are today. And we are busting at the seems. This business always knew it would occupy more space, but how and when was the great mystery. Well, here, and now! I can’t possibly thanks all our past staff, our current frikken incredible staff, our community and our honourable patrons enough for the above and beyond contribution you have all been to us to get us to this point. You have been the wind beneath our wings that summons the courage to keep choosing and creating greater, no matter what! We are so excited to bring something new to Maleny. Still us. Still our home and your home. But evolved. I can’t personally can’t wait to see it. So come in and farewell this clever little cafe in its current form this week if you’re feeling nostalgic...as I am! And I’ve put together a photo gallery for the occasion!! Enjoy

02.01.2022 BIG NEWS! This lovely lady, Sharron Archer, and her family have been the owners of the business Piece Of Me, next ours, for the last six years. We both took over our spaces in the same month and have been watching each other grow and we’ve been great neighbours and friends during this time. Today is their last day!! They are moving out because they had a successful sale of their business space....TO US!!... So with keys in hand we plot and plan our expansion. We dearly would like to thank Sharron, Geoff, Kirsty, Sage and Jai for the years spent here together and we wish them huge love and luck with their future. Ciao folks. And now....Shotgun friends.
