25.01.2022 Happy #WearItPurple Day! The one day of the year you wear something purple to show your support for the LGBTIQ+ community. Why?... Because 75% of LGBTIQ+ youth will be bullied for who they are. Because they are 5x more likely to suffer from anxiety. Because they are 12x more likely to experience depression. And that sucks. By wearing something purple, you'll be celebrating them, letting them know they're valued, supported and loved - that they're allowed to be proud of who they are. #shout #shoutforgood #whatyougiveiswhattheyget #minus18 #lifechanger #YouthOpportunities #DCSSaustralia #mardigrasarts #BGF #RUOK #beyondblue #lifeline #oneinfive #theeqalityproject

10.01.2022 Supporting the Day at the Drive in Adelaide today featuring the Australian Tennis Foundation. Players are calling to action for young and disadvantaged to have opportunities to learn and play. It is not about them (the players) it is about our kids and youth and providing them with opportunities that they might not normally have. Donating via Shout For Good means that what you give is what they get. #happyhuman #australiantennisfoundation #slam #shoutforgood #whatyougiveiswhatyouget #YouthMatters

08.01.2022 Big congratulations to Mandy Mandie being awarded an Order of Australia Medal today Having founded Koala Kids in 2005 with her son, Nick, Mandy has since volunteered full-time as program director. She is involved in every single facet of the organisation, from packing boxes, planning and implementing programs to events and fundraising, volunteering hands on in the hospitals (when permitted) and even vacuuming and making tea and coffee for every guest to the office! (Her... number one saying is there is nothing she’d ask someone else to do that she wouldn’t do herself!!) Everyone who’s ever met Mandy, whether a volunteer, family of a child with cancer or anyone else she works with can attest to her warm, kind nature and her massive heart. Mandy is incredibly passionate and it reflects in everything she does. Happy and proud indeed that Mandy has been recognised for her dedication and hard work for Koala Kids Congratulations #koalakids #shout #yourshout #whatyougiveiswhatthey #webelievehappyhelps See more

05.01.2022 Today is Global Accessibility Awareness Day marking the 9th annual celebration to get everyone talking, thinking and learning about access and inclusion and people with different disabilities. At Shout we join with GAAD in their first year of celebrating virtually. At this time, where many people are working remotely it is especially important for organisations to make sure communications and information can be easily read and understood by all audiences with True Headings,... Readability, Concise and Descriptive Links, Colour Contrast, Image and Video Descriptions. We all need to think about how we can improve access and inclusion. #shoutforgood #shout #whatyougiveiswhattheyget #guidedogs #obrienrealestatefoundation #settlementservicesinternational #stmaryshouseofwelcome #mslimited #activfoundation #assisstancedogsaustralia #stepscharity #dylanalcottfoundation #celebratingabilities #wheelchairsforkids #TADACT #DCSSAustralia #theshepherdcentre #KYDX #epilepsywa #dogsforkidswithdisabilities See more

02.01.2022 World Sight Day is an annual day of awareness to focus global attention on blindness and vision impairment, and is held on the second Thursday in October each y...ear.
