24.01.2022 We loved supporting Show Horse Council of Victoria's Horse of the Year Show at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre last Saturday. There were huge numbers ...in the feature #OffTheTrack classes and the quality of OTTs competing was nothing short of sensational! It was also really special to see champion thoroughbred’s Chautauqua & Hartnell make their debuts!

08.01.2022 Wonderful measuring day at Werribee Park Three of our SHCV committee members attended and throughly enjoyed the day, Glenys Triffett, Donna Lee and Darren Inglis. It was great to work alongside Equestrian Victoria. Thank you to all the SHCV members who attended, the day ran very smoothly and it was wonderful seeing familiar faces and meeting new members. 04.01.2022 That’s a wrap!! Thank you so very much to our wonderful sponsors, judges & competitors who supported this HOTY show. WOW what a big one it was!! ... Thank you to the show volunteers who were amazing all weekend, we would be lost without you all. We have learnt a lot, made mistakes and will continue to develop new ideas & improve the shows moving forward. The OTT ring was so well supported by high quality horses. Introducing the M.Ansell Turnout classes was a success in its very first year. We apologise to the competitors affected by the rider class timetable confusion on Sunday. Onward and upward to the next great show. We will release an events calendar for 2021 in the coming weeks. 02.01.2022 We have survived our first show as a committee, it was never going to be an easy task on a tight timeframe many said it could not be done, but we did it! Thank ...you to all the competitors and their pit-crews for believing in us and continuing to support SHCV. There were a few speed bumps along the way, the committee through teamwork and everyone pitched in and delivered the final Grand National qualifier for 2020. Our sponsors made this event possible and all our members are truly grateful for the donations of cash and product to make this event possible. Thank you to all of our amazing sponsors. Well our to all fabulous volunteers what can I say you are the foot soldiers in the background and you all put in an enormous effort. Jordan McDowell kindly donated her time and flew down from QLD. We would have been lost with out your knowledge Jordan thank you again. Helen Curtain for sharing her knowledge and training committee on measuring and swabbing. The Lee family thank you for organizing the Whittlesea grounds and many of the finer details for the show. It would not of happened without your efforts and support. The Classic Show sub-committee for the huge amount of organisational work you did. Thank you to all who provided feedback some great points have been raised & things we have learned from this show. We will re-group and discuss all the comments and aim to improve the overall experience for our members.
