07.01.2022 MEET THE COACH.... 10 COACHES IN 10 DAYS.... Day 9: Jack Krzysik - The Master of the Standing Backflip ... Favourite current player? Roger Federer because I love his game and the way he acts on and off the court. When did you start playing tennis? I started at 7 years old. What aspect of playing tennis do you enjoy the most? I enjoy the physical and mental endurance of tennis. You always have to be on your toes and prepared mentally and physically for each point and have to do this for an extended period of time to do well. What do you enjoy most about coaching? I enjoy helping the kids to enjoy the game that I like so much and seeing improvement in all of their games. What is your favourite shot/game style? My favourite shot is the forehand because I love to control a point and like to play an attacking game style with it. If you weren’t a coach what would you be? I am really unsure but at my age it would not be anything as interesting or fun as coaching!!! Hobbies outside of coaching? My hobbies outside of coaching are freestyle trampolining, photography and videography. Best advice you would give to a young player starting their tennis journey? Make sure that you learn the correct techniques and keep practicing them as it just helps your progression a whole lot more. Your best quality as a coach? I think it’s having fun with the kids as well as making it an enjoyable and positive place to be. #ShowCourtTennis #MakingADifferenceToYourGame
