Having shorter showers means less water will be wasted and the energy used to heat the water will be reduced. But more importantly, by managing your families shower times you will have far less frustration! If you are looking for an easy to install, easy to use, battery powered device to control your shower times... then the Shower Shortener is for you. The Shower Shortener comes with a shower head assembly, controller and batteries and allows you to choose a shower time of 3, 5 or 7 minutes with a one minute extension. After the time chosen expires, the water shuts off to a trickle and prompts you to turn off the taps and exit the shower. The Shower Shortener is made in Australia by Davinda Innovations Pty Ltd. 19.01.2022 Great to get some feedback on the Shower Shortener from a family in Western Australia. "Hi David Thought I would give you some feedback on the Shower shortener, which only got installed as a Mother’s Day Present!!... We have peace in our house in the morning and the night, no more yelling at my son to get out of the shower. The boys mastered how to use it very quickly, they are both amazed how much water it takes to have a shower, so we will be challenging them to use less once they are over the initial shock of the timer. 09.01.2022 Very pleased to announce the Shower Shortener is now patented in China. This now adds to the Australian and New Zealand patents. The US patent is due very soon and has been accepted, leaving just the indian patent to follow shortly after.
06.01.2022 Some wonderful feedback received from a happy customer this week: "Good news - We love it. Better news, I think you may have 2 more sales coming your way. The savings are there and we no longer worry about losing track of time for the kids in the shower. I thought I would save the money in the water usage, but that was overtaken by the savings in the electric water heating. It is nice to send our kids in for the shower and not have to keep in mind to yell at them to get out ...after x minutes. This stream lines the shower queue (except for the cool down period) and reduces parental stress knowing the child can't have a 30min shower. Any way Great product, Great price! Thanks, Reuben"
