19.01.2022 Show Me The Way - Kimberley 2019. The SMTW team was in Derby, WA in June to support 16 students from Derby District High School in making 8 films of First Nations local heroes. The films were launched in Derby at the school on 7 August.

15.01.2022 On July 4 films from Show Me the Way workshops in Menindee were screened at Menindee Central School. Eight films of local heroes made by Year 9-11 students formed the DVD, "My Country Your Country-the Menindee Stories". It is planned this program will continue over three years, creating a valuable resource not only for the community of Menindee but the whole of Australia.

12.01.2022 We need you!!! We are looking for some really enthusiastic volunteers to form a Show Me The Way volunteer grants team. You don't have to have written grants before, but have a drive and passion for supporting First Nation people and people from refugee backgrounds, and have a love of writing. Show Me The Way work with local young people and communities to uncover untold stories and celebrate culture.... We are looking for around three to five volunteers who would be happy to help out with writing a few grants per year. We will help you out every step of the way too and show you how it all works. You can do this at home, at any time of the day! Comment below if you are interested or email [email protected] with your superpowers and how they will help you in the role, and how much time you have available to commit to this role. We can’t wait to welcome you to the team. Please share this with your community to help us find the right people for this volunteer role. 02.01.2022 My Story Matters 3 was launched at the State Library of NSW last week. This is the final DVD in the collection of 24 First Nations local hero documentaries from across Australia. The films were made by high school students with the support of industry professionals from Show Me The Way. These films will be held in the National, states and territories and public libraries across Australia.
