24.01.2022 Lake Kepwari, located about 10 minutes outside Collie and about two and a half hours outside Perth, is on track to become an exciting new camping and recreation... destination. At the election we made a commitment to deliver significant upgrades that will improve facilities and access to the lake to support activities including boating, waterskiing, swimming, camping and picnicking. Stage one of those upgrades, including a boat ramp, access road and parking - are expected to be completed by the end of this month. Along with a range of other exciting projects underway in and around Collie, including a range of new mountain biking and walking trails, these upgrades are set to boost tourism to the region and support local businesses and jobs.
