21.05.2022 2022 SOCCER SEASON IS A GO!!! Sorry not sorry for the long post but all this information is important.. so please read on! First a big Welcome back to all families past, present and new. ... We are sure, like every year before us, this season is going to be massive, full of fun and great soccer moments. Down to business though and definitely the most important one of them all. We (Keith and Lucy) are still on the search for at least 2 more awesome volunteers to join us on the soccer committee. If this sounds like you or anyone you know please get in contact with us via messenger, email ([email protected]) or in person. IMPORTANT DATES * Season runs from 07/05/2022 until 27/08/22 (14 weeks). There are NO games during the term break. Most games will be held on a Saturday with the option of some games being played on a Friday night for the older teams. * Expression of Interest for 2022 are now open please email ([email protected]) with your child(ren)’s name (First & Surname), age and school grade (eg grade 3) to the committee by FRIDAY 1st APRIL 2022 This is our cut-off date (No exceptions). INFORMATION * New for 2022 Registration is opening to children turning 5 this year So get the word out there and let’s get them playing. * If you’re interested in coaching (again) or you are new and would love to give it a go please let us know at the same time as expressing interest of child(ren). Please ensure that you have or can obtain your WWVP as this will be required as part of your registration. * We endeavour to keep players in the same teams as last year. * The Tasmanian government is offering the Ticket to Play again this year please visit https://www.communities.tas.gov.au/ticket-to-play for details on how to apply for a ticket to play. * Details on fees and training schedule at the school will be coming soon! * Uniform Club provides a shirt for each play. Each player will need to provide their own red shorts, socks, boots and shin guards. NO SHIN GAURDS, NO PLAY!! BRING ON 2022!!
13.05.2022 Found on metro bus a pair of soccer boots size 34 and are black with lime (highlights, insides and laces) and EF brand on them. The shin guards are mismatched with one lime green and the other black with lime bits all inside a black thin bag. If these are yours and keen to get them back please get in touch Amazing south hobart parent grabbed them for safe keeping.
04.05.2022 I counted 5 amazingly dedicated teams, coaches and families up at Darcy St this afternoon. The vibe was buzzing and kids sounded like they were having fun. Thank you families and coaches for being understanding and flexible with training spots.... unfortunately oval closures are out of all of our hands.

11.03.2022 KICK OFF! This weekend we get back on the field and our children get to play. Please ensure games kick off on time. No ifs or buts on this one.... Warm up off the fields - they will last longer Don't bring your dog please - on or off lead. Keep back from the sideline. Everyone can see if you do and the players have more space. Volunteer to help your coach. They will love you for it. But most of all - Super important please- they are kids, let them have fun. Don’t yell or get angry. Give them love and lots of positives. They will thank you for it so much. After all who cares if they win or lose it is little kids football and they just want to play. Thanks everyone. Enjoy yourselves and be kind.
