07.01.2022 We are really excited to announce the first ever DRR for 9705, Andrew Giumelli! Andrew is a past president of The Rotaract Club of University of Canberra and is... the current Rotaract Australia IT Director. Taking over from Caleb Fryar Lees (DRR - D9710) & Clare Lawlor (DRR - D9700) once the two districts merge, Andrew is really excited to take on this role and help make Rotaract in the area stronger then it has ever been! "I am really excited to be the first DRR for our newly formed district 9705 in 2020-21. We have many opportunities as we form the new district and it is appropriate that the Rotary International theme for 2020-21 is "Rotary Opens Opportunities". I will be working hard to provide support for all clubs in our district and open opportunities for all Rotaract members while creating growth in the district. Rotaract has been elevated at the international level and now is the time to take our new elevated place in our district. I look forward to working with all Rotaract clubs to cement our position in the new district and grow Rotaract." We can't wait to see where Andrew takes Rotaract in D9705!
