14.01.2022 Learning how to handle your emotions and mental well-being is an important, but often challenging, part of growing up. Studies show that one in three people age...d between 15 and 19 years is extremely or very concerned about mental health, so the Little Blue Book was created to boost mental health and suicide prevention resources available for young people on the Fraser Coast. The Little Blue Book will be distributed to Fraser Coast high schools as a quick reference guide for students, helping them understand their feelings and providing important information about mental health services. It was created in partnership between Fraser Coast Regional Council and the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service, and printed with support from myself, the Barounis Family, the Rotary Clubs of Maryborough Sunrise and Maryborough City and the Maryborough-Hospital Lobby Group.
