12.01.2022 If you've booked one of our booths, you may have had the pleasure to meet the lovely and friendly Bernadette! Back in the day before digital photo booths, and well before the popularity of photobooths at events, she and her husband George worked with the old school chemical photobooths! The big heavy enclosed machines! They'd take these chemical booths to events! Imagine setting up an old school booth and getting the chemical ratio/mixture correct. She recently found some... old test shots taken from the inside the booth, and I was more excited than she was to see these photos. These days we try to perfect the photo, better flash lighting, crisp photos, but the beauty of these old school chemical photos, is the imperfect photo! I love how old these photos look and of course, the people and poses in the booth. To see Bernadette still posing and strutting her stuff in the booth (and no wonder she's mastered the art of photobooth poses!), and to see young Alicia when she was still a little kid, absolutely nostalgic!
