15.01.2022 APPRECIATION POST: Our lawyer Jarred Mace and Counsel Melia Benn achieved a great result in the Townsville District Court on Tuesday. The Court was convinced to sentence our client to a community based order with no conviction recorded in circumstances where the Prosecution were asking for a term of imprisonment (meaning mandatory recording of a conviction). The hard work from Melia and Jarred means that our client can now move forward with their life from this difficult time and will not be haunted by a criminal conviction. Well done to both of you. I really appreciate the effort you both put in and I know the client feels the same way! - Jess
