24.01.2022 Alright so turns out a 10 minute video takes much longer than 10 minutes to make.... many many retakes lol. Here is the first video of my 10 week video series. ...I thought I mentioned this in the video but I didnt. To get a faster shimmy you will need to make the knee movements smaller and more refined. Trying to speed the shimmy up with full range of movement will use up way too much energy! Smaller=faster! Enjoy the bloopers at the end!

10.01.2022 To all our loving fans, friends and family that have supported the Shuvani at the Abbey Medieval Festival over the last 17 years and shown us so much love, It comes with great difficulty and heartache that we inform you that this year we have not been invited to attend the Festival to celebrate the mark of its 30th year anniversary. We were notified a week ago that due to the budget not being extended to our group, the space we normally occupy has now been offered to another... group. It’s very hard to put our feelings into words at the moment. You will still be able to catch us on the 27th and 28th of July at a new and exciting Living History event coming to Old Petrie Town. We really hope we can entertain and delight you there this year instead. We have loved being part of the Abbey Medieval Festival for the last 17 years, just as much as festival-goers have enjoyed our presence there. We are aware that images of our group and encampment are still being used to promote the 2019 festival, causing some confusion. If you have the time, please share this post to let others know we have not been invited to attend the Abbey Medieval Festival this year to help avoid disappointment, especially for children.
