15.01.2022 I love the meaning of this world, so much I have it tattooed on me to remind myself to do this in everything I create. So much of me is pored into my creations and it means so much when people love what I do. During this crazy time in isolation I feel like I lost a little of me just by not being able to do what I love the most, creating cool characters with makeup and costuming. Now that we are allowed to do makeup again I cannot wait to do our first photoshoot which is lo...cked in for a few weeks time! Years later, (and watching so many Egyptian cats being done by other artists around the world) we finally did ours! Years in the making, months in prep, then paused for a pandemic......here she is. ... Bastet, ancient Egyptian goddess worshiped in the form of acat. The daughter ofRe, thesun god, Bastet was an ancient deity whose ferocious nature was ameliorated after the domestication of the cat around 1500BCE The biggest Thanks goes to Zara France for being a phenomenal model. Sitting like a champ during application and removal, wearing a super heavy wig with no complaints (My poor models lol) and then slaying in front of the camera. Meow!
