He has loved her since she was 13 years old. (Almost 70 years) They are my world. This photo was taken under the Al Gabbiano Hotel on Scoglitti beach. Our home town. God bless them & keep them well.

13.01.2022 To say I’m happy is an understatement. I was actually teary when this came through this morning. Lorraine Not Quite Nigella has written a beautiful story about my beloved Scacce making. I suppose I got emotional cause it’s been such a difficult year and we have all tried to reinvent ourselves some way or another. I know my struggle was minimal compared to many but it was challenging at times. 09.01.2022 My Mamma my angel....today she said she was very proud of my cooking. Ahhhh my heart. I made these artichokes with her today. We sautéed onion, bacon & breadcrumbs. Added pecorino, extra virgin olive oil & parsley to the mix once it cooled down. Then mixed egg through it all to bind it together. Stuffed them. Placed them tightly in the pot. The pot had an inch of water in it & half a can of tomatoes & some garlic and more parsley. Simple

05.01.2022 So since I couldn’t go on tour to Sicily this year I had to reinvent myself a little. So 10 weeks ago I started delivering hot dinners. Lasagna, Eggplant Parmigiana And this weeks new addition - ricotta and spinach cannelloni. Some times it’s been really stressful and many times I’ve cried, like everyone during covid, I definitely felt the pain. BUT the people and the amazing support I received from across Sydney has really made it all worthwhile. ... Covid has forced many of us to think outside the square and get a little creative. So now I’m doing home cooked meals, cooking classes and (if our stock ever gets here)online Sicilian store in time for Christmas #sydneyeats
