23.01.2022 Synthetic drugs are cheap, potent and widely available and they have become a dangerous epidemic, poisoning people all over the world.
22.01.2022 Some inspiring words from Swan Christian College Student Clancy Mercer, after our presentation last thursday: "On behalf of all the year 11s and 12s from Swan Christian College I would like to thank Rod Bridge for coming to our school and speaking to all of us. He was so incredibly brave to tell a room full of strangers his personal story of hardship and we were all honoured to listen to him. I can imagine a lot of students were probably not looking forward to another speaker... saying dont do drugs but Bridge was able to speak to everyone, reach ever set of ears in that room and show us the effects. To have someone show us and explain it on an emotional level is far more effective than just having someone say dont do drugs. Its bad. I think I can say this on behalf of every student that Rod Bridge was the best speaker weve ever had. For the year 12s (including myself) it was especially significant to hear the story of Preston. That someone very similar to us, young, Australian, too brave for our own good can be exposed to these drugs once and die because of it. We will remember this story, whether we cried or simply sat in silence, we will remember Preston. Thanks again, and thank you to Rod Bridge. You are an inspiration." Thank you Clancy for your kind words, we hope you and your peers can help us spread this powerful message.

Educating and disucussing the dangers of escalating into synthetic substances like fentanyl and carfentanil. Working together as a community and opening the lines of communication on these deadly substances.
