25.01.2022 Just found this behind-the-scenes photo from first day of shooting Pacific Lines back in 2018. Everything fell into place pretty well for those two days of shooting in the Blueys, it was an awesome start to the project. Photo by @nmonteith

25.01.2022 Welcome to the first ever Port Fairy Adventure Film Festival!! Delighted to be out here for the weekend with Pacific Lines (showing tomorrow night). And check it out! Legendary artist @jimmi_buscombe_artist (of Warrnambool wombat fame!) has created this incredible 3D chalk mural of @angiescarthjohnson for our film. So good! #portfairyfilmfest @portfairyadventurefilmfest @thenorthface_aunz @climbing_anchors @ Port Fairy, Victoria

24.01.2022 Took a break from Insta/FB on my mobile for a few weeks, nice to get the time and battery power back! However, thought I’d share some shots from recent Araps/Gramps trip where I also took shots for a long-running passion project that’s getting close to completion (for want of a better word.) Camera: Sony A7Rii... Lens: Zeiss Batis 18mm f2.8 30sec exposure See more

18.01.2022 I've been creating some more gear videos for my YouTube channel during the lockdown - this is the first one I put together, about a wrong assumption I'd made about light leaks on the Metabones Canon EF - Sony E mount adaptor.

14.01.2022 Images from the awesome @portfairyadventurefilmfest by the very talented @patcorden! It was the first of a triple Film Fest trip that I’m still on right now. Shoutout to co-director @s.waterhouse and the @resonate_nz team who’s work helped elevate our film both creatively and technically to the standard it is. Honestly, I’ve not posted much while on this mission because I know how disheartening it can feel if you’ve had work rejected while others get through. Know that I am ...very, very familiar with rejection over many years. We’re tight. All that said, these moments are too good not to share. These are from an ABC Radio South West Vic live broadcast in the morning at Blarneys Books and Art, then from a quick Q&A following the screening of Pacific Lines that evening at the amazing refurbished Reardon Theatre. I feel incredibly fortunate to have participated in the first Port Fairy Adventure Film Fest, and can’t wait to go back next year!

14.01.2022 My DIY recording booth. Just had an awesome 1hr chat with Flagstaff Mountain Film Fest podcast talking about Pacific Lines. Kind of a new experience, thankfully I didn’t crash and burn

06.01.2022 Last Monday a good friend from NZ, Greg Jack, organized a screening of Pacific Lines at a school in ‘Eua, Tonga, for some of the kids in Houma village. He arranged for Tongan subtitles to be added and they projected the film onto a white sheet. By all accounts they loved it and there’s plans to show it again in ‘Eua soon. It’s super rewarding to see this happening, massive thanks to Greg and everyone involved in organizing while work commitments keep me in Aus at the moment, can’t wait to get back over there someday! #pacificlines @thenorthface_aunz @climbing_anchors @angiescarthjohnson @leecossey @s.waterhouse
