25.01.2022 These are a little big for ears unless you have a very large hole through the lobe but they do hang beautifully on a chain threaded through the back!

24.01.2022 She is so beautiful.

23.01.2022 Wow, It is 5 years since we opened our first holiday let apartment with hopes that it may create a viable way to fund restoration of our huge colonial house. It worked and now we have 5 apartments listed. We have also upgraded many of the windows to double glazing and suddenly the ice box that we moved into in 1989 has become a warm home. One more unit to be restored and then some of the exterior of the house, double glazing of remaining untouched windows as well as a few sma...ller jobs to be completed in our part of the house and it will be done. I can't wait to see Toogooloowa fully restored to its original state. Bookings for Toogooloowa on Davey on stayz.co.au Check them out on Stayz. 21.01.2022 Happy new year to all. Ebony has been sprucing herself up in the shower so I thought you may enjoy her excitement. https://www.flickr.com///23455380113/in/dateposted-public/

19.01.2022 I like this ring. I wonder the significance of the pattern of dots and empty circles in the design?

17.01.2022 Another little Bamileke flute. Follow the link to see all images and info on Flickr

13.01.2022 First image of some of the rare and unique stones I collected during the past month in India and Thailand. Ammolite. Ammolite is an opal-like organic gemstone found primarily along the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains of North America. It is made of the fossilized shells of ammonites, which in turn are composed primarily of aragonite, the same mineral contained in nacre, with a microstructure inherited from the shell.

12.01.2022 Wonderful old Igala Janus helmet mask.

12.01.2022 Time to move this piece from my collection. I have had it for many years and have really enjoyed my time as guardian. They are a very fine example. See more on Flickr. https://www.flickr.com//sidewalk_/albums/72157657139822960

09.01.2022 A beautiful little doll from the Namji People, Cameroon.

07.01.2022 These bracelets are old and show their wear but are complete and very wearable. The photos show their history. The black carved wood stands they are sitting on are from my large old Ethiopian coptic processional crosses pictured with one of the brass cross back left.

06.01.2022 Ritual knife from the Ngome people in DRC. Beautiful sculptural form with lethal function.

02.01.2022 This chair looks a bit funny but it is strong, functional and quite comfortable for a smaller bottom!. From Southern Ethiopia.
