21.01.2022 The Unforgettable Rescue Chiko came to us from the pound with the help of Labrador Rescue and after months of training was successfully rehomed. He's been with his new family for a bit over 7 months now. He's living a great life on a rural property, has been attending obedience classes and is totally spoilt by his owner. He still has springs in his feet but hasn't gone over any fences. He's smart enough to know he's safe and in the best home now. Merry Christmas Chiko. We're so happy for you.

21.01.2022 We continue to get dogs with a wide variety of temperaments in for board and train and some stand out more than others. This is Pongo who is a rescue dog now with new owners who are investing a lot of time into helping him with his behavioral issues. Pongo exhibits a number of issues we see on a daily basis jumping, ignoring people and lack of recall, but he also finds it incredibly difficult to control himself in all situations but particularly when out and about, which as you can imagine causes all sorts of problems. His current training plan is more extensive than the plans we have for the average dog and thankfully he’s making progress and is slowly improving on all fronts. It’s nice to see such a beautifully natured dog go from rescue, to boot camp, to a happy life as a well behaved companion.

19.01.2022 Sweet rescue Introducing Suzy, Lab X Wire Haired ??? We think Suzy was a street dog for some time as she was emaciated and full of worms when she was picked up by Domestic Animal Services in Canberra. She’s come to us for an extended stay while we try to help her with all of her issues. She was assessed as being reactive but we can see now that she just had a fear of other dogs. She’s super sweet, loves cuddles and is responding well to training. She’s also getting better... with other dogs but still has a way to go on that front before she’s ready for her forever home. We’re very committed to giving her all the time she needs to rebuild her confidence and obedience and we’re really looking forward to seeing her improvements over time. We’ll be rehoming Suzy when she’s ready to move so watch this space for updates. Let us know what you think her breed mix is.

15.01.2022 Chloe's first time learning to be a decoy and even she admitted it was more fun than she expected. In training security and police type dogs it's invaluable to have a female decoy as a lot of dogs that work these roles will not perceive a woman as a threat as it rarely happens on the job. Not to mention as a dog trainer it'll make Chloe's ability abundantly better to read a dogs body language in any situation.

12.01.2022 It’s hard to believe our puppies are already 6 weeks old. They’ve turned into little piranhas with sharp teeth and ferocious appetites and it’s definitely time to wean them. They’re doing well on solids and are only having the very occasional feed from mum now. They’re also living outdoors in a puppy nursery which has an igloo style kennel and a heat lamp to keep them warm overnight. For such little dogs they’re great at making a big mess so we’re happy they’re outside now! All of the games we play with them are geared towards early training and they’re learning something new every day. They’re off to the vet tomorrow to get microchipped and vaccinated and two of the three will be off to their new homes in two weeks time.

11.01.2022 highly recommend sidney for training or buying a dog.....earlier this year i brought a female mal pup from him one of the best dogs ive ever owned...full of drive,nerves of steel and very confident pup with good size and bone couldnt be happier with her

08.01.2022 My Roxy is a German Shepherd and a beautiful girl we have had her since 8 weeks , however her obedience was bad , jumping , biting , destroying anything and eve...rything in sight ! 3 Weeks with Sidney and Christine , she is a new dog. Doesn’t jump , haven’t been bitten once , can walk on a lead and follow commands , we are going to continue with Sidney on a regular basis with obedience training and one on ones , the difference is amazing we are so happy and so is Roxy . Special shout out to Christine as well for teaching her to like baths , always had communication, every question answered . This is a must for anyone who struggles with training , we are so glad we found Sid . Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Alana and Ash and Greyson and Roxy .

06.01.2022 An oldie but a goodie.

05.01.2022 Socialising our pup Cali (16kgs) with one of our horses Apache (680kgs) and while Cali is cautious, she’s relaxed and not at all stressed around our horses who are a lot bigger than her. It’s really important to socialize your puppies from a young age with other dogs and people outside of your immediate family, and any animals they’re going to be coming into contact with as they grow into adulthood to avoid issues later down the track. Cali is also used to our chickens and is learning to ignore kangaroos and wild deer on our property.

04.01.2022 The old boy Logan is helping to teach Chloe detection training. It's her first time on the tubes and I'm very impressed.

02.01.2022 Thor got a very small cut on his while doing some detection training. It didn't slow him down at all (Band-aid is for effect)
