25.01.2022 Had these heavily worn out RM Williams come into the shop a couple of days ago. Well I’m sure the will last a lot longer now with these new soles, heels, patch and new cork as well. I’m sure he will be stoked with them now

16.01.2022 Great Story to tell all the Hawkesbury folks today. I was doing a Gents spare car key today for his hilux, when a distraught young mum and her young boy walked into the shop and she was a little flustered about her car key breaking today when she went to use it. The key wasn’t working anymore. So I asked her to wait a few minutes whilst I finished off with the gents car key. When we came back in we could she she was still a little upset because of her situation. I explained... the cost of replacing the car key which was quite expensive to do what she needed doing, the gent quietly said to her dont worry I’ll pay for your car key to be repaired. She was then overcome with emotion and couldn’t thank the gent enough. So with that great gesture I offered him a great discount and cut her up a new key and chip that would solve her problems. After paying in a flash he was gone. Her only regret was she didn’t ask for his name and number but like I said she was overcome with emotion at the time. He said to her, We in the Hawkesbury take care of our own especially at Christmas time. How good is that. What a Gentleman he was. Even I the big fella got a little emotional when I saw her reaction today. A very good news story if you ask me. See more

12.01.2022 So today I had a Volkswagen mini van come in for a broken key replacement shell and cutting. After a bit of fiddling around and adjustments got it all sorted out. The new key is smoother than the original one in the ignition and now the also have a spare set key to use if they go swimming.

10.01.2022 Yet another VF Commodore key that was broken and if you have a good look at the buttons are no good either. No problems here at Sids Shoe Surgery 45783610 we can replace the worn key shell and cut another key to code and by using the chip and remote board from the old key it’s a fraction of the cost of replacing a whole new key getting it cut and diagnostically programmed in.

09.01.2022 Here’s what makes up a key to a Car nowadays. The remote case and blade, remote circuit board, transponder chip, battery and the remote case back. Here at Sids Shoe Surgery we cut and program many keys to cars, not only remote keys but seperate transponder keys also. We also cut keys to code just to make them like an original key. 08.01.2022 It must be car key battery day today. As soon as we start to get the colder weather you will notice your car keys need to be a lot closer to the car than they did before to open them or even if your car is telling you key battery not detected and key not detected get the battery changed ASAP. Here at Sids Shoe Surgery 45783610 we do plenty of car key batteries and remote batteries also. Heres just a few from this morning.

02.01.2022 Hyundai IX35 key shell replacement. Using your old remote and transponder chip and put them into a new key shell and cutting the new blade to code makes this as good as a brand new car key.

02.01.2022 Does your key need to be replaced, here at Sids Shoe Surgery we can quite often replace the key shell and use these existing remote and chip from the old worn out key to make you effectively a brand new key. They can also be cut to code.
