08.01.2022 Its getting a little wet at Carpentaria Downs! This photo was taken a couple of days ago, this morning the flood has risen considerably. There is a wonderful old marker post at the bottom of the garden marking record floods, it is now 2 inches off the all time record in 1974. Peter and Alex have been busy with a helicopter, moving cattle, cutting fences and swimming them to safety. Never fear, Signature Beefs cattle not only taste awesome they are pretty handy swimmers as well! We are very excited by all the rain, no matter how it comes it is always a blessing.
