20.01.2022 Our regular Tea came in today to try out some of our new luxury range! Tea was pampered by store owner Hannah for this special event. Tea tried out 3 of our new luxury extras range - Whitening shampoo, bright pink hair dye & pink nail pawlish. We think Tea came out quite lush and fancy dont you think? We cant wait to share our new luxury services and packages with our wonderful clients!

20.01.2022 Yes we do large dogs too! Missy is one of our regular Groodle clients. We recommend our larger breeds come in every 4-5 weeks for a bath & tidy appointment where they receive a nail trim, face feet & tail trim, sanitary shave, bath & blow dry to prevent all knots from forming. This makes a dramatic difference to the full groom price when they come back for a hair cut at 8-12 week mark between clips.

19.01.2022 This is one of the many reasons we ask our clients to keep their dogs up to date on vaccines between visits. Parvo virus is a deadly virus that can live in the soil for up to 10 years. With new areas being built on this virus is building up again and becoming a huge issue. Parvo is exceptionally deadly to young dogs but can also kill your adult pets. It can be carried on shoes in the dirt or on clothing or car wheels. The only defence is vaccination every 12 months. We have t...o work together to make sure all our dogs are vaccinated so there is no threat from dog to dog in our salon. As of 2017 we will be asking for vaccination certificates on first visit and will require updates annually. This is for the protection of your own, our own and our other clients beloved family members. If your pet is lethargic, has blood in stools, is drooling, dehydrated etc please see your vet immediately. There have been recent outbreaks in Adelaide Victoria and Sydneys western suburbs. 18.01.2022 This photo brings up a very important point - although I would put it in much kinder terms! Please remember when you brush your dog at home to use a metal comb. In order to clip your dog any longer than a "shave down" we will need to be able to comb your dog from head to toe. Using a simple pin brush will only comb the top coat and wont remove the knots from the base of the hair. Unfortunately many people arent given correct advice on grooming tools and think they are groom...ing their dog correctly. Dont have time to brush your dog? I suggest strongly that you book in for regular bath appointments. These are usually half the cost of a full groom and you get your dog back without any knots and with their nails taken back nice and short. Maintenance is key! Dematting hurts your dog. Long nails curl into the pads. Leaving undercoat keeps your dog hot and bothered. Lengthy nails makes walking difficult. Clean skin means a healthy coat.

07.01.2022 In celebration of our new changes prior to the summer season we are going to take some time to introduce some of our luxury extras and packages. Todays focus is on our Deshedding Treatment! Breeds that require the de-shedding treatments are those with double coats and those that shed a lot. Those include but arent limited to; - Border Collies, Golden Retrievers, Pugs, Labradors, Newfoundlands and so on. ... In our usual service bath & dry or tidy of these breeds we offer the following services as standard; warm bath, standard purifying shampoo, blow out and blow dry, nail trim, brush out knots (standard 10-15 minutes). When the dog is dropping its coat and losing loose hair the Deshedding treatment is offered as an extra service for an additional fee. This includes; Hydrobath and massage with rubber mitt, Deshedding shampoo to open hair follicle, charcoal conditioner to soften and loosen coat, blow out before the bath to loosen coat and save on drying time, blow dry (second blow out), minimum one hour combing/Deshedding/coat raking depending on hair type. This is all offered in addition to the above standard service. Another optional extra which works perfectly with our Deshedding treatment is the "charcoal scrub" which features in one of the below photos and in our feature videos. It exfoliates the coat and releases hair from the blocked follicles. Its softens the coat and removes dirt from the hair follicle. Helping to release coat one step further. Our Deshedding treatments reduce hair in the home by up to 75% and leave the coat fresh, soft and smelling wonderful. Call us today on 0434583245 to book your Deshedding appointment.
