02.05.2022 Welding two 3 metre aluminium panels together without distortion? I made a heat sink and ran water through it to take the heat away from the aluminium. With 50mm hit and miss weld technique after it was tacked in place. The 4200mm horizontal beam gave me the biggest headache. It either pulled up or down, even allowing for the distortion so many goes to get it right.
