25.01.2022 SOMETHING YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW about hand painted signs. I’ve painted a lot of signs in the 40 years that I’ve been a signwriter. Some of the signs I painted 20 and 30-plus years ago, are still doing their job around town today. ... You may notice that over this kind of a stretch of time, a sign may begin to fade a bit. This is inevitable, AND easily RECTIFIED, without having to replace the sign. Did you know, if you still love your sign, and want it to LAST ANOTHER 20 YEARS; you can give me a call, and arrange for me to rejuvenate the surface? It’ll be all polished up, and looking like new again, in no time at all. YOU CAN’T DO THAT with VINYL. This is one I restored, and brought back to life just the other day. You can see it at the Kalamunda Pharmacy, right here in the City of Kalamunda. It’s next door to Chelsea Decor, (who are partway through a complete re-brand), where I’m currently working on a whole new range of their re-branding signage. I love my repeat customers. .
23.01.2022 THROUGH THE EYES OF YOUR CUSTOMERS Branding and signage can have a real impact on your customers. What your customers feel, when they first step through your doors, influences their experience in the moments which follow. ... Do you KNOW how your customers FEEL, when they first walk through your door? Those feelings communicate to your customers on a subconscious level. This subconscious communication influences their mood, which has an effect on their behaviour, and shapes the way they interact with you and your staff, and what you have to offer. Is your business branding and signage helping to create a positive experience, with your customers and clientele? Take a moment to observe your business through the eyes of your customers, and see if you can find ways to improve their experience. It might be as simple as adding a welcome sign or your business hours to your entry door, or re-locating your point of sale. You may be inspired to add a splash of colour to a feature wall, to improve the atmosphere; or you may start planning a complete re-brand that is more in line with your vision for both your business, and your customer experience. Signage and branding that works, for both your business and your customers, is a real asset. .

18.01.2022 My business depends on the support and collaboration of a team of talented and committed craftspeople and suppliers, who are vital to our business, and our production capabilities. The functioning of our business, in turn, supports our local industries and suppliers; many of which are small local businesses themselves, with families and communities that depend on them. In the sign manufacturing industry, we are in constant demand of printing service supplies, paint, steel, ...timber, sheet metal, and hardware; and all of our earnings are spent right here in our local community. Supporting local business is now more important than ever before. Give us a call if you would like to discuss your ideas. We are still taking orders and providing signwriting, and manufacturing services, where possible. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bznb7tsjFRT/?igshid=htknj23qohk9

11.01.2022 I’m Phil, from Signitright. With more than 30 years experience in the Signwriting industry, we provide a full range of modern and traditional signwriting services to private clients and local business, throughout the Perth metro area. For businesses looking for cost effective solutions, we can offer a range of modern digital printing, and vinyl signage solutions, for business signage, shop signage, vehicles, and commercial applications.... For those seeking an authentic style of signwork, that helps convey value to their customers, and express their unique business identity; hand painted lettering has become the gold standard, and this is something we excel at. For 30 years, handpainted Honour Boards have been our specialty; using 24 carat gold lettering to restore and update commemorative plaques for schools, community groups, councils, and sporting clubs. This is a time honoured tradition and a skill that can be difficult to find, and one that we particularly enjoy doing. Our hand lettering is also very popular with Weddings and Special Events, and you can see a good range of handpainted work over on our specialty page, Phil’s Traditional Signwriting. Good signage is good business, and we’re in the business of making you look good. For signage that creates immediate customer impact, give us a call. .
10.01.2022 Love where I live. Nothing quite like living in the Perth hills. I never get sick of seeing this picture. Stunning photography.... . See more
09.01.2022 Paint tin. Another one to add to the collection. .
05.01.2022 Tools of the Trade. As you can see I’m a master of whatever I can lay my hands on. Some people are passionate about the tools they collect and use in their trade. While I am most definitely passionate about the work that I do, and the quality of my brushes, my paints, and my craftsmanship; the thing that holds the paint and the brushes, doesn’t have to be top of the range.... In fact, the kitchen bakeware is ideal; as it is so easy to clean up afterwards. https://www.instagram.com/p/B8gK3EzDSZk/
02.01.2022 Handpainted, and still doing its job, nearly 30 years later. A property of historical significance up here in the Perth hills. Apparently the first settler in the Bickley Valley, and the first property and orchards established in the area. .
01.01.2022 We are a low risk business and very fortunate that we can continue to take orders and enquiries by phone and email. We produce business signage, and have always carried out our production off-site, and delivered to businesses, and client locations. While we are able to continue production for all of our clients, without too much difficulty or interruption at this stage; what we are finding, is that many of our customers are having upcoming jobs/work cancelled, and no longer... have the cashflow to pay for the jobs they’ve booked with us. We can certainly understand the difficulty they are facing, and very much appreciate their commitments to re-order, or complete their jobs, at a later date. For all those who ARE in a position to invest in their businesses at this time, it would be a huge benefit to signwriters, graphic designers, and printers (and many other professions), to continue using these services. In fact, it could be an opportunity to take full advantage of this quiet time, to catch up with all those things we never get time for in our businesses. Things you may like to consider are; . re-branding . cleaning and re-painting tired walls . designing new signage . printing support materials . painting a feature wall . getting new business cards . updating websites and online platforms . photographing for promotional purposes . getting a feature in a local paper . setting up an online shop . getting flyers printed and posted out to clients . creating feature promotions for shop windows . getting new table numbers painted for your cafe . re-organising your shop layout . updating old signage . having faded signs re-polished ...the list is endless. Even if you don’t have money to spare at the moment, this is most certainly a time we can take advantage of, to revitalise ourselves and our businesses. If you’d like a few Painter’s tips for some of those jobs you could take on yourself, come back to our page here, for a new series of DIY posts we’d like to share with you. .
