24.01.2022 Latest plaything ... TI Chronos = MSP430, Accelerometers, RF comms

23.01.2022 Time to start overhauling the lab. On the agenda...New PC, new DSO, new Logic Analyser. And of course a complete reshuffle to fit them all on to the bench. PCB reflow oven and CNC machine are taking up so much space that the 3D printer seems like a distant dream ;)

20.01.2022 Spent a couple of days evaluating some cheap monochrome OLED displays for a potential project. It's taken a while to wire them to a PSOC board, write a library and begin testing. 2 displays from 2 suppliers, both based on the same core chip (ssd1306). One doesn't respond to some of the addressing modes, but the other does. One displays data 'correctly' whereas the other swaps odd and even bits!? And one of the displays has a horizontal offset? My HAL just got a lot more complicated lol.

15.01.2022 Interesting look at designing outdoor environments ...

13.01.2022 Is now using JIRA !

12.01.2022 Senior design engineer Gary obtained membership of the IET formerly the IEE a couple of months back :)

09.01.2022 PSOC development. A fast solenoid valve controller for test environment operating in a debug mode

05.01.2022 likes GitKraken !

03.01.2022 The first batch of boards produced with the new oven have proven very successful. This allows faster turnaround and more reliable assembly of PCBs for clients.
